Should the Niners draft a QB next year?

Should the Niners draft a QB next year?

Been seeing mock drafts that predict the Niners will draft a QB anywhere from the first round (JJ McCarthy) to third round (Cam Ward) over the last couple of weeks. Should the Niners draft a QB in next year's draft? My answer would be, maybe. Don't know what will happen with Darnold and Allen yet after one year under the Niners and Shanahan's system. If both of them leave in free agency next year, Niners will have to do something to back up Brock. If only one leaves, they'll have to decide whether to go with another veteran backup, a draft pick, or an UDFA. What do you think?

4th-7th round pick or Undrafted rookie to put on the practice squad. Unless of course both Sam Darnold and/or Brandon Allen aren't brought back, but I think we'll get one outa the two at least.
Maybe someone like Brady Cook from Missouri in the later rounds
I honestly don't care how they use draft capitol anymore. After Moody and Latu we can use a high pick on a relief pitcher for Giants for all I care.

Moody is not honesty that bad. He hit almost everything except 1 doosy in Cleveland. But his percentage is good and he can hit from long. He hit all his extra points. He's not nearly as bad as claimed on the WZ.

4th??

I'm already thinking that KYLE had a man crushes on:

McCarthy - trade out of the late 1st to gain more picks and land an early 2nd and draft this Wolverine.

Rattler - (3rd rounder) Shanny still has not gotten over the Mahomes 3rd ang long play in the Super Bowl that each time he sees a guy w/the same arm strength who can roll left and launch a 65 yarder (see Lance workout)

Gabriel - (4th) high football IQ who can move around but really reminds him of Brunell
I think the earliest we should even consider one is the 5th. I'm okay with depth, but Brock deserves respect.
Yes definitely. Early-ish as well.
Id consider taking a QB from the 4th rd on. The first 3 rounds should be for OL and secondary. But I think it would be smart to draft a young QB to backup Purdy

5th sounds good to me, that's where Lynch/Peters shine!

Lol
They definitely should. Now I wouldn't consider it high priority, but as we get closer to Brock having a huge contract (after the 2024 season), we're going to need more quality players on rookie deals. I am happy with Darnold for now however, so the QB would be strictly developmental.
Yes, Michael Pratt out of Tulane in the late rounds please.

Don't disagree but I don't see Sam staying beyond this year. He wants to be a starter, surely?
