Definitely more of a luxury but with Kittle going up there in years and Latu looking lost in the sauce this offseason, Spann-Ford is an intriguing option. Highly effective as a receiver and greatly improved as a blocker, with tremendous size and length, he has the talent to step in and make an impact at TE as a rookie. Athletic with a basketball background, he knows how to utilize his size to come down with contested catches. The Gophers have used him all over the offense in a variety of roles. He's a versatile weapon at 260+ pounds that still has the frame to be able to add more weight in the NFL.

Another 6-7 TE who hurdles in the open field not named Darnell.

I really like him. Had a horrible quarterback so don't judge him by his stats. Will be a better pro player imo

Latu is just the latest of our bad third round picks. If he performs as bad as he did this preseason, the Niners should replace him with another legit successor to Kittle. Having a big body like Spann-Ford paired with Brayden Willis long term would be nice.

This is one of my favorite TE prospects. We gotta get a guy who has starting caliber abilities and IMO I feel he's got that.
