Ainias Smith-WR-Texas A&M

Love this guy's attitude, plays ferociously no matter how he's used. He's played RB and WR in college, can run, can catch, can block, can be a returner and he does everything with a high degree of enthusiasm. if Kyle fell for Hurd, he'll love what he sees from Ainias Smith.

He's one of those guys that is almost a program mascot, coaches love him, players love him, fans love him, just like with Jauan Jennings, the energy guys like this provide is a major plus for the team, on and off the field.

Smith blocking
49ers receiver Deebo Samuel caught Smith's eye after taking the league by storm this season with his ability to dominate in the passing game and between the tackles. Samuel was fifth in the league in receiving yards (1,405) while totaling 59 carries for 365 yards and eight scores on the ground.

"I actually want to give a shout-out and appreciation to Deebo Samuel," Smith said. "It's not very easy for anybody to do that on the next level. For him to be able to do that so well, it just really shows that people like me out there can be valued. It's definitely an opportunity that he's opened up not only for myself, but other people under me."

Samuel's rise to stardom sets a new standard for how players can be utilized in an offensive scheme. Players like Smith, who had 64 carries for 373 yards and four rushing scores during his time as an Aggie. He's ready for whatever else A&M coach Jimbo Fisher asks of him this season.

Smith has long been one of my most coveted prospects. I have a small handful of Niners must haves on my list and I hate it sometimes because it is so incredibly painful when they go elsewhere.

Puka Nacua was a MAJOR guy on my list this past draft and I was absolutely gutted that we passed on him.. Dude looks like a superstar already in LA.

Definitely looks like our kind of guy.

I don't know if there are many players in the draft better suited to playing in this offense than Smith is.

Ask Kamren Kinchens what it is like to run into him
Officially listed at 5'9" and 197 pounds.

He won't return punts in the NFL because he's really bad at fielding them, but he's an absolute weapon on offense.
