Mohamed Kamara-DE-Colorado State

Two things that really seem to stand out about Kamara, he's got a nonstop motor that's always going, he's always fighting, trying to make a play and not often do you seem him washed out. The second are his hands which he swings like clubs, incredibly violent, gets right up inside the OL's frame and rocks them back with some hard punches.

I don't know if he's ever going to develop into a top end pass rusher but he has all the tools to be a reliable base end and secondary edge rusher. I see him as a 5th rounder and someone that could step in immediately as a rookie and play part of the rotation on the DL.

Create a custom 49ers jersey
Love him in the third round plus he's from jerseyyyyy lol
Has been handling his business at the East West Shrine.

The depth at our areas of need man..

I hope the right fits all fall into place at our slots. We should have so many opportunities to get instant contributors for next year and beyond.
He's on my top 10 favorites list.
I like him but I think we are looking for someone heavier.
Looks like a great 5th round prospect!

Would be a nice 5th rounder
This dude was best player on the field in the Colorado game. Unstoppable.

I see him as a 3rd-4th rounder now.
The short, compact frame with high-revving motor and ability to corner through contact reminds me a lot of Samson Ebukam. Get off and closing burst at the top of the rush pops off. Pass rush plan ain't great; hands timing and placement are inconsistent. Footwork is excellent. Dude knows how to mix up his jab steps to freeze tackles and/or bait hands. A good coach like Kocurek can help improve his hands and get him marry them to his already good feet. Lack of length shows up in run defense; gotta re-work his technique in that area to create space.

I really like this dude. The 49ers love edge players that win through contact over guys that rely on creating fast/clean wins. I think they're going to be big fans of Kamara.

I wish we had seen him at the Senior Bowl because he sonned most of the OL he went against at the East West Shrine.
