Mitchell looking very good. I wouldnt hesitate taking him in the 1st and moving up in the 2nd for a tackle.

Mitchell/Morgan would be a great combo

I'd love this. Anything that lands me Mitchell I'm sold lol
Not a fan of Guyton from these practices. He's a grabber, had bad hands, and doesn't anchor consistently.

I know fans aren't going to want to hear this, but a tackle with our first pick is probably not the way to go.

Completely agree. If it's an OLinemen, I'd target Frazier the #1 C rather then settle for the #6 OT

Can Frazier play guard? How does he compare to previous centers?
I've seen 2 mock drafts and both have the Niners taking a DB in the first round. They are predicting a run of about 12 tackles taken in the first round so the best available may be at DB.

I think he can, big time wrestler so strength is not an issue. Previous Centers with us? Or draft wise? I just think he fits our system perfectly, Latham might be higher rated but for us, give me Frazier. He's someone I'd love to have grow up with Purdy for the long haul

He shows flashes of independent hands and upper body twitch. You can teach accuracy and timing. His feet are so light and it's those movement skills you can't teach. His natural strength is also evident. He's new to the position, and I think it'd be worth the gamble, personally. That said, I think he's a top 20 pick anyway. My guess would be OT4

Thanks. I meant draft wise. I really liked the center the Ravens got, but I assume Frazier is an inferior talent. Which is fine. I haven't watched any film of this player yet.

He's definitely light on his feet and that's true he can get better with his hands.

Me too, yeah Frazier might be the inferior talent there but dude might have more of a nasty streak. Made a mistake on my post too, not Latham, I meant that Duke Center Graham is #1 on a lot of boards.
Powers Johnson is the #1 center on boards.

If they want Frazier trade back into the 2nd to get him.

Yeah, Guyton is still a bit of a project but oozing with potential. Some said might be a boom/bust type and I'm sure our front office will do their due diligence if he is one of those guys who loves to play ball and has that drive to get better at his craft. The team is in a winning mode now and we need players that can contribute right away with the first pick. So I'm good with a stud Center that can play a Guard for a year if need to. Then get an OT after to develop. Let's see how all these players do the rest of this week.

This front office will not trade back if they love a certain player as we know it.

Yeah, a stud CB would be a great addition also. But I'm also thinking what we have in our roster that we have drafted and been developing like Luter, Womack, Thomas, Lenore..and they always seem to add later in the draft to develop. I agree we can definitely use a stud opposite C Ward but I think they will give these young guys a shot first.

Need to do a better jo maximizing vale of their picks. Their biggest flaw over the 7 years.
