I also never said RR wasn't a fit for us either. He is however limited and his chances of being the next Staley are slim. Doesn't mean he can't be a starting RT. I think he can't I also have higher grades for other players that will most likely be there…it's like you never heard of reaching? SF loves to do it and more often than not it's doesn't work out.

As for reaching, Aiyuk went about a half round higher than mocks had him going. Which is exactly what I'm talking here. That to me isn't reaching as I already explained. I understand that can be subjective so I will just agree to disagree.

Because Kyle drafted the only QB he liked then they traded up to get the RB Kyle didn't want to lose.

So to answer your question, they traded up to get their guys.

I'm seeing a 4th td grade for RR by Thorn. Early 3rd from Dane. PFF has him at like 90th overall. I don't see anything that has him as top 50 pick. The only reason anyone is talking about him this high is because SF has interest…dats it.

Daniel Jeremiah has him as a late 4th rd guy. #121. The 49ers will obviously go by their rankings and not TV guys

Who in the world is saying he's going higher than end of the second? Literally the ONLY reason he's even in the discussion of being a 1st rd pick is because of some s**t link to SF.

I haven't seen a damn thing about him going to any other team in the 1st. Every big board, analyst or OL evaluator has him outside of the top 50 or later. Tons of people don't even think he's worth a 2nd.

And he's got RR outside of the 2nd rd. 67th overall.

I'm not married to the idea of taking Kinsley at 31 either.

Media projections =/= value amongst NFL teams

Of course if niners DO draft him at 31, we'll never know if KC would have taken him at 32
