Honestly, it should be the first thing you guys focus on when evaluating DBs. One thing I learned from Bill Belichick's philosophy years back on evaluating DBs was the importance of physicality and tackling as a DB. He said something along the lines of him preferring a coachable DB that could tackle and play physical over a pure coverage/athletic DB that can't tackle. This has been highlighted this week with KC's defense: they have arguably the best tackling backfield in the NFL. DBs that can't tackle, fit gaps and play physical are massive liabilities in 2024 with the way teams are defending these high-flying offense.

We'll see about the combine. I think he makes it to the 2nd. There's some good options this year IMO so we don't need to panic or reach for anyone.
