It is in this thread right now that I announce my draft crush. Kingsley Suamataia is my guy.

I see no holes in what I have seen from his highlights/tape. He is fluid as they come. He has played both LT and RT. I think he plugs in a RT and is the heir apparent to LT when it is time. His measurables are very good to great. Just short of 6'5. Good weight 325+. Big hands. Great athleticism. He was very very smooth in his drills today and he did them all with effort. His balance looks tremendous. Making Bruce Feldman's freak list at #3 is well deserved. Love this quote from his coach he gave Feldman "Kingsley Suamataia is the most athletic and violent OL I've ever coached."

There are a few intangibles I like about this kid that just adds to the crush. He is ambidextrous! I played the drums for 14 years. If I could have added any one talent from a genie who granted me a wish to improve my chops, it would be to be ambidextrous. It allows you to think differently. No weak side. Think that might come in handy for a OT? Esp one that we may want to start at RT and move to LT? I sure as sh*t do. The bloodlines don't bother me one bit either. Being the cousin of Penei Sewell and having similar (actually slightly better) measurables to Penei is not a bad thing. He's got that island blood in him. He seems like a smart really good kid. Maybe that's the BYU? He plays hard. He looks like he really enjoys the game.

He's got Gold Helmet written all over him. After we draft him it will come out he was a gold helmet guy. Okay off my soap box but I will likely be insufferable about this kid for the next 2 months. Sorry not sorry.

my worst nightmare just happened.

Can't believe we just gifted him to KC but whatever.. we better get a superstar at pick 64 then.
Chances are good niners wanted Rosengarten. I guess someone did like him as much or more than us afterall.

Similar to what I got. My best available OL board right now:

1. Christian Haynes
2. Dominick Puni
3. Beau Limmer
4. Mason McCormick
5. Kiran Amegadjie -- Just went off the board..
6. Christian Mahogany
7. Layden Robinson
8. Andrew Raym
9. Christian Jones
10. Tanor Bortolini
11. Dylan McMahon
12. Javon Foster
13. Delmar Glaze
14. Javion Cohen
WOOHOOOO WE GOT PUNI!!!
Turn those faucets off. The tears can now stop.
Interesting developmental picks in rd 5-6

Frank Crum
6' 7", 315 lbs
second-quickest 10-yard split (1.69 seconds) and 40-yard dash (4.94) out of all the offensive linemen at the combine.
He fires off the line, blocks to the whistle and moves defenders in the run game.
He is smooth getting set and is tough to beat when he lands his punch in pass protection.

Tylan Grable
6' 6'', 306 lbs
Grable is a versatile player. He started 27 games at left tackle and also the right side and right guard. He has been training for center. Can be your blocking TE. Grable is an ascending player -- who played quarterback in high school and some tight end early in his career -- and has the tools to continue to get better. He tied for the second-quickest 10-yard split at his position at the combine this year (1.69 seconds), and that burst shows on tape. He walls off defenders in the run game and flashes the ability to recover in pass protection
I like both Crum and Grable as developmental tackles.

Yep, Grable was one of the first guys I saw as one of those late round athletic guys with a chance to develop.
I'd trade up for Christian jones

if they don't take Christian Jones, I hope they continue to build the interior and draft Tanor Bortolini.

I like Bortolini…a lot. Jones is interesting at this point.
Is my boy McCormick still on the board? Love him as a future center.

I'd love to grab a future C. The right guy could even push Brendel this year. Seems like there's some good prospects still out there.
