Good. Get them in the 3rd.
Pretty consistently seeing Jackson Powers-Johnson dropping out of the 1st round now. Is that simply a case of the value of the position? Is everyone in love with Frazier now? Thoughts on Niners taking JPJ him at 31? That would allow us to move to where we wanted to get that OT in the 2nd (yes I still want Kingsley Suamataia ) Edit ~ I see medicals may be in play here

I haven't seen any 49ers interest in JPJ and usually if there's no interest, chances of the 9ers drafting him are pretty slim to none. That's why I'm not getting my hopes up for the 9ers to draft Zach Frazier in any round.

Help me out here bro.. have we met our previous high picks? Maybe, the team talked to the player by video and keep things under cover. I can't seem to remember that we talked to Kinlaw, Banks.. in previous years. Wasn't JPJ being talked about getting picked as the first OC for some time? What do you guys think is going on here? Anyway we'll get our answers next week. Can't wait!

I'm pretty sure 49ers had meetings and formal visits with all 1st round picks except Nick Bosa, if I recall, 49ers brass only went to Ohio St. Pro Day.

I don't think they showed much love to McGlinchey leading up but I heard something the other day that like 80% of their draft picks were 30 visits.
I'm seeing some mocks and rankings showing Frazier above jpj. And a bunch showing the interior o line and centers simply not chosen until round 2.

Imagine having to choose from Barton, jpj, or Kingsley S.? What to do there? I assume the tackle, but my heart is saying take the center.

Barton seems more versatile and his intelligence is a huge asset. Kingsleys talent and ceiling at tackle are intriguing. To me JPJ is the least of the 3 but if he's the one left we should take him.

Dude I don't see it with Paul? I mean he looks like an ideal OT. Massive length/size, but he's got slow heavy feet and constantly gets beat by those quicker speed rushers. He's athletic ability to move out in space is bad. He can't re-anchor well. Once he beat it's done, no recovery speed.

For a guy with 36+ inch arms, I feel like he lets guys get inside him too much. his got poor pad level and what's even worse is his 24. It's not like he's some 21yr old just learning to play OT. Dude is old for a rookie and needs to sit on the bench and develop

sweet baby Jesus this would be a horrible pick in the 2nd, let alone the 1st

I am with you. I don't get good vibes with him. I think Kingsley Suamataia has way more upside and I like Rosengarten better as well. Kingsley is the only tackle I'd take at 31 assuming all the others are gone by then. They really need to hit on this pick.
