He was 3rd in the nation tackles for loss, and 25th in sacks with 8.5 this season.
For an NFL comp, I'd say he reminds me a bit of Genard Avery with the potential to be much better IMO.

We really missed Ebukan and Omenihu on run defense. Braswell provides that and pass rush.

I haven't gotten deep enough into draft prep to comment on Braswell, but I agree with your point in regard to missing Omenihu, Ebukam, and Jordan Wills. I think that is an underrated reason for the run D being inconsistent at times. We need to use some combination of draft picks and high upside mid-level free agents to rebuild the depth on the D-line.

What's wild is how we went big name, almost 1994 style, and got worse. Makes me wonder if our pro personnel guys should've been looking for the next Omenihi/Ebukam/Willis and traded for them. Either way, here we are with the opportunity to rebuild the D-line.
Next year, I have Bosa, AA, Ferrell, Hargrave Davis, Jackson, and Beal. I'm not so sure about Jackson, but hoping we can add three guys to that mix, one DE, and two run defenders. It's probably more likely we go two DEs and one DT however. Maybe we can stash a 2nd on the practice squad. I expect AA's foot to flair up again as he is getting older, so we need to be getting ready for life without AA.

Booker looks like a nice fit. He's actually a very good pass rusher. He might be able to fill a hybrid Randy Gregory type role, but he could stand to add a few pounds.
Reminds me a little of Brian Burns honestly. I actually like Booker, he seems a lot stronger than he looks, just like Burns and Gregory. The more I watch, the more I'm impressed. He's better against the run than you'd expect too. Guy looks like he could be a steal if teams pass on him because of his weight.

poor use of hands, no pass rush moves
insane high motor guy, from film won't find a guy who works harder in games
great late round pick imo

Currently watching Adisa Isaac on the other side. Really impressed with his discipline. Dude seems like a very smart football player with good movement, bend, and hand usage. Seems like he'd be nice in rotation.
Generally, it sure seems like we want an edge setter though that can rush the passer now. I wonder what our staff would think of Michael Hall. Reminds me of a young Kerry Hyder. Feel like Chris K would like him.

Saw one mock with Isaac to Niners in the 2nd. They said he has all the tools to be a stud 3 down DE

Clemson EDGE Xavier Thomas is one twitched-up & explosive dude. I love how they showcased his versatility by rushing over guards in 2023. He is one of my favorite under-the-radar defenders in the #2024NFLDraft class.

WHEW. This rep by @ClemsonFB ED Xavier Thomas. OT had too much weight on the toes and he made him pay. Thomas has been having a good week. Strong and explosive dude pic.twitter.com/6WRsJmxzKe

Missouri DL Darius Robinson had the highest @PFF pass-rush grade we've ever seen during an all-star game practice week pic.twitter.com/ykmKGJZ8e8

Darius Robinson (6) off the left edge. He's mainly a power & compression style of rusher, so it's nice to see flashes like he shows here. Beats the LT with a cross chop & flattens to get the sack
