What's his draft projection?

Didn't think we had a shot at him. Looks like maybe he falls to the 2nd due to size. We'll see after combine. Great prospect though.

Prolly not, more pressing needs, second-third round. If we got lucky there with the second of their R3 picks but no way that happens.

With Greenlaw having torn his Achilles, with the importance of LB in this scheme, I wouldn't be upset about using an early pick on a LB if its the right guy. Whoever they think can contribute most as a rookie, that's who I want.

Son of former all pro
If they were going to go LB, I'd love Barrett in the 5th or 6th round. Absolute warrior and leader on and off the field.

I think he will absolutely be on our board. He should be available late a lot like Dee Winters was. Hopefully if he did come here he'd make more of an impact quicker.

Still hope we find a way to get Azeez back for a year or two.
As much as i dont want to invest in LB early, itd be hard to pass on Edgerrin Cooper if he falls to our 2nd pick

injuries can cause him to fall to our compensatory pick

sad to say dre probably won't be the same player
The more I watch Barrett, the more I'm wondering if he doesn't make it past the fourth.

Reminds me quite a bit of Chris Borland except with superior athleticism.

I honestly like quite a few backers in this class and thing we have a golden opportunity to find a future long-term starter in our system.

Barrett is a good fit due to his hybrid safety background and coverage abilities.

That spreadsheet is really nice and it better start showing we met with more O linemen.

Have to be honest, I like Gray's teammate Wallace a bit better. Gray is good at getting in the right position, but it bothers me that he doesn't finish the play as consistently as I'd like.
Marist Liufau (LB) Notre Dame
Day 3 prospect

pretty beast

Just got done scouting Aaron Casey. Dude looks like a Greenlaw clone. Get 'em! Fantastic player stuck on a terrible team.

This guy

I don't care at all that he ran 4.8 -- his 10-yard split was fantastic at 1.59 -- If he falls, I would be ecstatic if we grab him. Dude is lights out.

-Strong stack and shed guy
-Explosive first step
-Strong tackler
-Rapid play recognition
-Dawg mentality
-Not fooled by misdirection
-Leadership (Team captain)
