I don't see any reason why this guy should be a late round pick. Looks like another case of, "if you're not doing something crazy first, then it's not impressive".
Looks like a top 125 guy to me.

The case against Leary:
Plenty of outliers, Brock included, but first it has to be said that he is undersized. 6'1, 215. His percentiles in all physical qualities are quite low.

Has some major injury history. Broken leg in 2020 that caused him to miss most of the season. Torn pectoral in 2022 that required season ending surgery half way through the season. There are durability questions, and his size or elusiveness aren't helping to quell the concerns.
Because of the redshirt in 2018, injury history, and 5th year transfer to Kentucky, Leary turns 25 in September and is one of the older prospects in the class. Leary is older than Purdy. How much more development potential does he have?
The highlight packages are solid, but his in 5 years his completion percentage has only once been above 61.5%. (Brock was never below 66%). The touch on the deep ball is concerning. I dont see zip. Everything is a floater. His arm strength is not great. He locks onto the first reads and stares them down. Lots of boundary throws were its one read and his hips and shoulder are turned early and then he throws into tight coverage and never moves off it.

That's fair. To me, I am not worried about the physical ability but didn't know about the bad injury history.
I was thinking 4th round, but that considered, 5th-6th makes more sense.
I'm on record saying I do think if we're gonna take a chance on someone, I think maybe Austin Reed (WKU) or Ben Bryant (Northwestern) have a chance for success in our system.

Immediately following his Pro Day, #LSU QB and potential Top 3 pick Jayden Daniels is scheduled to meet with the #Patriots, #Commanders, #Giants, #Vikings, #Broncos and #Raiders, per his agent Ron Butler. Daniels has not previously met with any teams. pic.twitter.com/1wM92chLz8

Was just looking at some Malachi Corley film, and his QB Austin Reed kept jumping off the screen.
Reed has plus athleticism, great accuracy and ball placement, and a good enough arm. Seems fearless and decisive in his decision making, and can hit on the deep ball. His delivery looks at little odd at times, and he seems to throw with more arm than body, but I'd like to snag him in the 5th or 6th. He's got tools to develop and seems to have a dog mentality.
