Cole Bishop, S/LB?, Utah

One of the most intriguing prospects in this draft is Cole Bishop.

If we truly don't believe Hufanga will be kept long term, I really want to draft Vaki or Bishop from Utah.

Bishop has the speed, size, length, and agility to play almost anywhere on the defense.

He is a little light for his frame, so I think he could add some weight.

Will be interesting to see where he goes. Despite the athletic profile, I dont think he has the cover skills to work the deep middle of the field or to play nickel in man to man schemes. His alligator arms arent helping either. Needs a team that can play him close to the line of scrimmage, especially in blitz heavy schemes. Maybe employed as a big nickel playing zone on run downs. Need him in the box with eyes in the backfield as much as possible. Chiefs would be a good fit. 9ers possibly as a Huff replacement but not alongside him. If he busts out, I wouldnt be surprised if hes asked to gain 25 pounds and play weak side LB. Will make for a good special teamer in any case.
