I will pick Caleb Williams and Bo Nix as the busts. I have only watched Maye's highlight film which all seem to be the same, no matter who the QB they show them in, throwing to 1st and 2nd reads while scanning half the field, what do you learn from that? Odd that they never showed NC games on broadcast TV here when they are in the ACC with UVA the closest D1 school to me. If you can draft Pennix early second I would take a shot on him if I was a GM. Daniels seems like the safe pick to me. I hope the local Commanders take him at #2 first round.
Franchise QBs are gold in this league and are over drafted. Very possible.

imo Jayden Daniels has Justin Fields written all over him. I don't understand why Pennix is so underrated. If Caleb Williams is a bust it's more of a testament to the coaching situation he's falling into.

fingers crossed 6 QBs go in the first round and Troy Fautanu falls to us for a trade up around 20ish.

I think it would ultimately be 5 with Caleb, drake, jayden, and JJ and whichever team falls in love with penix or nix.

Man this is a perfect draft year for us on paper. A lot of o line at the top. Really hope that's the plan. I wonder if they pinpointed their target.

If by some miracle Adonai Mitchell is there you definitely do it and I don't care who's on the board.

Brian Thomas and Ladd Mcconkey I am as well unless Mckinstry, DeJean, Latham or Mims are available.

That is my personal preference anyway

Nix played it really safe as the season went on, didn't attempt a lot of throws he should have made...I think to preserve his record completion percentage and Heisman hopes.

He'll have to scuttle that behavior, QUICK, if he wants to make a roster.

I can see a scenario where WR is the best available player on the board and I think they would draft him.

IF they were to do that they would have traded Aiyuk by that point in the draft

I wasn't the greatest Bo Nix fan but he really matured during his time in Oregon. He had more snaps than any QB in this draft. He was extremely efficient in his last year. Sound like anyone we know?

There's never any way to know for sure how good a QB will be in the NFL. One thing is sure. Every year QBs are over drafted. If 5 are drafted in the 1st history says 3 will fail. So much depends on where they land. Does anyone think Brock would have had a chance to show his ability with most other teams?

They could keep Aiyuk and still draft a WR in the 1st. The current situation is precarious as hell. Take Aiyuk out and who is left?

Deebo-Tremendous weapon when healthy and when the scheme kicks in. He's not beating better CBs 1 on 1. He's also not likely to get healthier as he continues to age.

Jennings-Likely gone after next season. Will get a Bourne like $10+ mil a year contract from someone.

Ray Ray-Gone

Gray-Bust

Bell-Meh.

Even if they keep Aiyuk they need at least one quality receiver prospect.

I agree with your points but I just don't see I happening. I believe they'd rather allocate resources somewhere else. It's like Seattle drafting JSN last year, he's a good player they should have spent elsewhere imo.

In Seattle's case I agree with you. Our situation is different. Only real starting spots available is CB and OT. OG could use an upgrade (I'm assuming Feliciano is our starter there and not Buford). So if we project a year down the line where we could potentially lose 2 WRs(either Deebo and JJ or possibly even BA and JJ) and not to mention it seems to take WRs until 2nd year to make an impact. It would make sense for us to grab a WR.

Seattle, yea they had and still have multiple needs on defense and other areas.

I think a lot of people are going to be upset cause I feel that they won't reach for a line man if Brian Thomas or Chop Robinson are setting there. This is an interesting year I can see a scenario where they trade up and grab the tackle they want or they can move back 10-15 spots and come away with a guard or raw tackle and then grab wr or Bralen Trice with the additional trade picks. It's going to be fun.

No problem with Chop. That would be great. I could see moving back as well. Prepare for Trice falling hard. He was a top 50 guy before the combine. Not sure he is top 75 anymore.
