Ooof. The logic exercised here. A dude can play every position on the line but yet there's a path to questioning whether he's versatile. Ok.

Colton and Burnskill can play all over the OL as well….what Krizay is saying is how is it being versatile when everyone is saying that he's NOT an OT in the NFL? So he's an IOL, cool that makes his value much much less.

again if the plan is for him to be center that's much better. If it's to play RG. I'm out.

I thought you were done cool guy.

How many major college starts does he have at LT? Regardless of his projection, that means he can play tackle if needed.

we can disagree to disagree, cuz you're both wrong.
He's not done because he refuses to be wrong. He must always be right.

😂 so true.

Surprised by the hate for Cooper Dejean. A lot of the draft guys i follow love him as a safety including former NFL db & 49er superfan Eric Crocker with the locked on 49ers podcast. 49ers played 3 safeties in the Super Bowl and it worked out pretty well until later in the game. I think Cooper can play the Jimmie Ward role but maybe even at a higher level. Better ball skills than Jimmie too.

Anyways here are some guys i don't want that i;'ve seen us linked to:
Tyler Guyton - doesnt fit zone blocking scheme
AD Mitchell - takes plays off. Do not want at #31
Ennis Rakestraw - don't like his game
Jermaine Burton - maturity concerns
Maason Smith - not impressed with him as a top 100 prospect

inb4 we draft all of these guys and I'm their biggest fan.

A lot of people assume that he will be a Safety bc of the way he looks. That was my assumption as well until I actually watched some of his tape. The guy can be a good CB in the league. I don't think he will be an elite CB but could be a pro bowler in the right scheme. I think he is more of early 2nd type of guy tho.
My top CBs are
Mitchell
Arnold
Wiggins
DeJean
Tampa
Kool Aid

This would be disgusting. Outside of looking like an OT, I don't see anything amazing on film.

slow sloppy feet. Massive length that he doesn't use well. Not athletic at all. Horrible pad level. 24 and played for years and really didn't improve technique wise.

WTF am I missing with this guy to make him one of the best 32 players in this draft…in a great OT class on top of it

I like that you still have hope to not be disappointed on draft day. I have fully embraced I will not be excited and will just stick with the "I trust Kyle and Lynch" afterwards

Truth….I'm looking back since 2018 and the only guys I was genuinely excited that they drafted were.

2023: brown & Luter
2022: gray and Burford (thought he would be a OT)
2021: any QB not named McCorkle (wanted fields) & Lenior
2020: none of the picks
2019: Bosa/samuel (like AJ more), and Greenlaw
2018: Warner/Moore/Reed.

Overall super underwhelming when it comes to "my guys" and overall their drafts haven't been slam dunks at all. Paul would be par for the course

I can say higher picks have been head scratchers aside some obvious ones, but the middle rounds they usually hit incredibly well.
We need way better production out of this draft imo.

I was reading over the weekend and fee like Paul and Morgan wont pan out so you know it will be one of them....

I don't understand the dislike of Ladd McConKey route running abilities. He may be the best pure Route runner in this draft. At the least top 3. I see where people may not want him at 31 and I can understand that. But don't knock the dude on his route running of all things.

Agreed.

No one is knocking McConkey for his skills. Peter Schrager floated the idea of picking him at #31. The kid isn't worth a first round pick by a long shot. Only 2 TD's last year for any receiver shows that he won't have a major impact.

Morgan has that super boring quality about him that screams 49er. Sione Vaki is another prospect that I think just screams future 49er. To be clear this isn't players I want but what history of my beloved team has shown me.

He had 14 TDs in 3 years. Which is the same amount as DK Metcalf in his 3 years at ole miss. Which is 2 more than OBJ had in his 3 years at LSU. 2 less than Deebo's 4 years at South Carolina.

In a Georgia offense that had Bowers as the #1 option

Malachi Corley- I don't care what round. He is dollar tree Deebo
Xavier Worthy- too small
Amarius Mims- he's like Trey Lance (inexperienced) and Javon Kinlaw (injuries) mixed into one prospect.
Brenden Rice- if his name was Brenden Smith he would be a 6th round prospect

I feel like Brendan Rice gets a lot of hate because his last name is Rice. He's a good player and was a very good kick returner at Colorado. I see so many people saying the Niners shouldn't take Rice, McCaffrey, or Gore Jr because of who they're related to yet don't see that they'd all offer upgrades to the team.

I like McCaffrey and am not against Rice in round 7. I don't like Rice at all in round 2 or 3 which is where he will go. If he is there in the 5th, fine.

I like Rice as a JJ replacement. Wouldn't be mad at him on the 4th or later
