I would love this! So that means it won't happen lol
lol
CB in the first? This FO would never.
I mean that's where I'm at….I could live with this draft, I just know it's not gonna happen.
they'd still need two legit pass rushing DTs and a edge rusher

I know we need trenches, but assuming Graham and the OT are gone at 11 I truly think he's bpa and they could do it. They can still stack the dline regardless afterwards, and ......this would tie in with largely ignoring the offensive line lol

I mean it all depends on who else is there. I'm sure they like both Williams as well. I'm sticking with the Harmon/Nolen love as well.
I like Johnson. I think he plays right off the bat for us. I don't think he's Surtain 2.0. this FO doesn't value CB that high…They find scheme fit guys later. Not sure that's gonna all of a sudden change. Especially with all the other needs.
Also I don't really agree that they can "stack" the DL later. There's some good talent, I wouldn't say there will be top tier edge guys in the 3rd (or later).
In this scenario they got their run stuffing NT, they still need multiple one gapping 3-tech penetrators. They have literally nothing across from Bosa.

tbh I haven't focused on edge as much this draft. I think they need to draft one or two and rotate. I think they are fine starting matos opposite Bosa. They still need at least 1 to help rotate in because I think Jackson is sadly done.
Maybe they love Stewart, Walker, or Williams. I am not super high on Mykel as I think he needs work and am not confident we could get that out of him and feel the other two are wide open as well. With that thought in mind its very logical to go Edge at 11, then in round 2-4 add 2-3 DT. Totally rebuilt d-line that's young and full of talent matches their mo and it is not a bad approach. We will find out soon enough.

Williams is growing on me. Super young and played this past yr on a bum ankle. He meets the measurables of a 3 down DE without question. Already an elite run defender, I'm sure coach K would love to work with him.
I'm not saying they go EDGE at 11, DL overall I think that's a very strong possibility. Much much more compared to CB.
I think someone like Swinson/jackson or JT in the second all fit what they're looking for at DE.
I do think they will try to move down and if guys like Johnson/Walker or Banks are on the board, they could very well find a trade partner.
I mean if I'm SF and Banks is there (and they don't want him themselves) I would be talking to damn near everyone who wants a OT in the next 5 or spots.

I got on the Williams bandwagon a couple of weeks ago listening to guys like Greg Cosell talking about him. Decided to take a deeper look and I mean the rawness is there at times but so is the power. Dude has things that can't be taught and at the very least I think he can grow into a good complimentary player to Bosa...strong run defender and consistent 5-8 sack type guy. Maybe double digit sacks on a good year.
It also helps that he got the better of Kelvin Banks in their match up

The 7 round mock on the front page is pretty solid.
If we do go OT Will Campbell is my guy. I think he's one of the few OT prospects that can slide to OG for a year and be a force. Schweshinger is one of my favorites in the draft. Day 1 instant impact starter.
I think we would get 5 starters out of that draft. Thomas would be a starter at CB, Darius Alexander is a game wrecker at 3T and Cam Jackson at 6'6, 320 has rare athleticism and is stout vs the run.
Brooks is one of my favorite RBs in the draft. He has workhorse potential and legit 3 down ability and his punishing runs would wear down a D in the 4th quarter. He runs angry. He has rare vision and hits the hole hard and is an ideal one cut zone style RB.
He never fumbles and is also one of the smartest players in the draft. He's probably the best pass protection RB in the draft too.
We are short on edges but I guess we roll with Bosa, YGM and Sam Okuayinonu which isn't terrible. I think the coaches like YGM and Sam O.
Trade 3.75 and 4.138 to KC for 2.63
Trade 3.100 and 4.114 to Dal for 3.76
Round 1, Pick 11: OT Will Campbell, LSU
Round 2, Pick 43: LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA
Round 2, Pick 63 (via trade): CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State
Round 3, Pick 76 (via trade): DT Darius Alexander, Toledo
Round 5, Pick 147: DT Cam Jackson, Florida
Round 5, Pick 160: RB Tahj Brooks, Texas Tech
Round 7, Pick 227: OL Drew Kendall, Boston College
Round 7, Pick 249: WR Taylor Morin, Wake Forest
Round 7, Pick 252: LB Brandon George, Pittsburgh

Yep. He's #1 on my list
I don't have him top 5 for me. Probably not even top 10 but that doesn't mean I don't think he shouldn't be in play at 11. I'm not a fan of going upside early in the draft (prefer production and consistency) but this is a weird draft where I don't see a ton of top end prospects. Williams is pretty much a prototype for what you want in a 4-3 end from his size, power, length and athletic traits. He's shown flashes of potential (like I said got the better of Kelvin Banks) and I believe our dline coach would love to get his hands on a talent like this.

Not a fan of the new format but damn do I respect the grind Brugler puts in.
Most surprising thing to me is how many edge rushers he has in his top 10 on his Top 100 board.
Carter(2)
Walker(5)
Stewart(9)
Green(10)

Trade 3.100 and 4.114 to Dal for 3.76

Round 2, Pick 43: LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA
Round 2, Pick 63 (via trade): CB Azareye'h Thomas, Florida State

Round 7, Pick 227: OL Drew Kendall, Boston College

Round 7, Pick 252: LB Brandon George, Pittsburgh
So you traded 100, 114 and 138 for Azareye'H Thomas? Seeing how you basically got Alexander in our original spot. I would much rather take Dorian Strong, Cobee Bryant or Zah Frazier at 100 and have 2 more darts to throw in the 4th Probably OG, DE, S
I do love Brooks though. His style reminds me of Jordan Mason. I like Drew Kendall pick as well. I would love Alexander if he was our DT2. I would love Jackson if he was DT3. As you currently drafted them, I wouldn't hate it or love it.
I'm not a big fan of drafting an OT to have him play guard for a year then kicking him outside. Not my cup of tea. But I get it.

Yeah it keeps crashing and kinda hard to navigate.
also Harmon is his 16th overall player.

That's not my draft. It was on the main page
But he didn't trade 3 picks for Thomas. 4.114 went to Dal to move up to get Darius Alexander.
As for your comment about Alexander as a #2 and Jackson as a #3, I agree. But that's what happens when we take an OT at 1.11
