Originally posted by Monsterniner:Interesting why Lynch would put that out there. A lot of so called analysts say this year has fewer first round graded players (12-14). Logically, if my team is drafting at 11, I'd say that range is right so that other teams may be enticed to trade up to 11. The only reason to say it is 20 is to make other teams think the 49ers are open to trade back (which seems to be reported already).

I think he's being honest, whilst also saying, fine we'll trade back around there. I think mine is around there now, did it before and had 16, but I'm now happier with Green now I know it's not Domestic Abuse, Harmon got one after more study, Zabel and even though he's not on my board Shedeur has a fringe first round grade for me.

Just giving you real talk. In the same breath he said more teams are looking to move back than up so he isn't playing chess here. Everybody has this as a weak blue chip but pretty good depth draft.
One head coach described the lack of elite talent in this year's draft class bluntly — and based on multiple conversations with those in NFL scouting departments, he's not wrong.

This is what I'm hearing less than 48 hours away from the first round ??https://t.co/EdbvDfGN1Z pic.twitter.com/RIxsUYEbcZ
14) The San Francisco 49ers are expected to stick and pick, hoping for an edge rusher.

Lots of OL early.

That's something I expect on Thursday night.
Finally got around to looking at some people's mock drafts and I would say offensive line are probably going to go earlier than what the consensus thinks.
I'm expecting 3OL to go in the top 10.

Stewarts average time to first pressure last season was 2.43 seconds, the best mark in the FBS (Abdul Carter clocked in at 2.46 seconds).
After removing plays affected by quick game, play-action and double-team blocks, Stewart logged just 106 true pass sets last season, ranking 74th in the draft class. Should not expect elite sack totals from him. The production is down, but hes getting to the QB on a team that has a very low blitz rate. Would not be surprised with a Danielle Hunter type growth in this areas.
If they take him, a Danielle Hunter style growth arch is critical, otherwise he'd probably be a bust. I just think that they need guys with proven production at their schools, and I'm not sure Stewart is worth the risk.
Peter Schrager's Mock Draft
— uSTADIUM (@uSTADIUM) April 23, 2025
TEN - QB Cam Ward
CLE - CB/WR Travis Hunter
NYG - EDGE Abdul Carter
NE - OL Will Campbell
JAX - RB Ashton Jeanty
LV - OL Armand Membou
NYJ - TE Tyler Warren
Full mock: https://t.co/in1bd7MkQl
I'd be shocked if Nolen fell out of the top 15 at this point -- he might be the fastest riser in this draft. He's quick, is a people mover and has had a great predraft process. Everyone is focused on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, but Nolen is the Rebels' prospect I hear about more. Don't be shocked if he goes before Mason Graham, the more heralded defensive tackle.
The defensive line was once a real strength of the 49ers. It's time to return to that era.
🚨 My first and only mock draft is up:
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) April 23, 2025
2) Browns: Travis Hunter
…
5) Jaguars: Offensive weapon not named Ashton Jeanty.
…
20) Broncos: Sean Payton gets his guy.
