100%. He would change the back end of the defense. He'd be an ideal fit with Mustapha.

Absolutely. And I might be the biggest Huff fan on the board
I may be wrong but I think the QB class this year is pretty weak. If I was a GM, I would be very reluctant to take one in the top 10 and even in later rounds I don't find many good prospects. I can't believe people are listing Howard or Leaonard as top QB prospects.

Shadeur plays a lot like Caleb Williams but with a weaker arm. You have to worry about his ability to function in an NFL offense.

Next year's crop I think looks much better. In no order:
Leavitt, ASU
Sellers, South Carolina
Allar, Penn State
King, Georgia Tech
Robertson, Baylor
Ewers, Texas (rumors he stays for 1 more year)
Klubnik, Clemson
Nussmeier, LSU
Mendoza, Indiana (Cal)
Manning, Texas
Iamaleava, Tenn

I'd PSU wins it all, allar might change his mind and go pro. Fingers crossed, the more QBs in the draft the better for us

Yes. He's much more position neutral, can play anywhere on the field. I wouldn't be disappointed with him at all. I think he's been up there for so long that people started to get bored and have started to nitpick the hell out of him.
I keep seeing jalon walker mocked to us.
Who do you guys believe is responsible for the overall hot mess of drafting in Round 1, especially defense? It's really sad that we'd be in a good position if we took Webzone draft experts advice over our team.

Out of the 6 years, our only legit pick was a no brainer in Bosa. I honestly didnt mind the Reuben Foster pick but that was near the end of Round 1. Aiyuk pick at #25 was solid. I thought there were better players than McGlinch. The rest have been trash. We'll see about Pearsall in a few years.
Really hoping two QBs, Ward & Sanders, go in the Top 10.

Theres no question Sanders and Ward will be in the top 10. TEN, NYG, NYJ, LV, CLE, NO can all take qbs, gotta hope a 3rd sneaks in there but this draft is ugly at QB
It's looking like we will have two premium picks in 11 and 43, and then 2 more in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th.

Very critical free agency period...need to trim some fat (overpaid players past their primes) and fill some gaps to let the draft board come to us. We can really completely rebuild at least one area of our team on the draft if we pick the right players, of which hindsight will obviously be 20/20. But we really need a Seattle 2012 or Eagles 2024 type roster revamp to take advantage of our aging core. Our draft last year was a promisimg start.

Starks and Barron? Secondary is set.
Maneuver for Shemar and Grant? DL set.

If we get a good center in FA, we can even do something like Starks>Barron>charles Grant>Lundt>Capehart>Walker

First four picks pretty much all have to contribute significantly as rookies and at least two them need to be starters. The scouting will have to be absolutely on point. No more projects, no more kickers in the 3rd round, no weirdly ill-fitting picks, no more screwups.

Can't see them not going in top10. 4-5 QB needy franchises in top 10 picks,

I actually see him going top 10 in some early mocks. We may be stuck with taking an EDGE. Not a terrible thing, but I wonder if it would be as impactful to the team overall. Is there a lighting fast edge that resembles Ford. He was the perfect compliment to Bosa who is fast in his own right, but is also that power guy etc.

Interesting. I will have to read into him more. LB may make sense and if he is BPA that's ok by me.

Dalman is the only guy right? Will he be in high demand? That may make sense. Maybe the FS via FA as well? but what if the draft plays out that Starks is the guy there etc. Kyle said he wished the draft was rigth away and before FA, but you think the NFLPA would ever allow that lol.

Walker isn't your traditional LBer. Not saying he's Parsons but he can rush the passer as well as cover/defend the run. We would need a creative DC to get the most out of him

Besides Dalman there'a Ryan Kelly and a couple more guys. I expect some centers to get cut as well.

You can't have 15 guys go in the Top 10. If Starks goes earlier then someone else drops down. I'm perfectly fine with them standing pat for Starks, a top OT, trading down or even moving up for Graham.
