Very critical free agency period...need to trim some fat (overpaid players past their primes) and fill some gaps to let the draft board come to us. We can really completely rebuild at least one area of our team on the draft if we pick the right players, of which hindsight will obviously be 20/20. But we really need a Seattle 2012 or Eagles 2024 type roster revamp to take advantage of our aging core. Our draft last year was a promisimg start.

Starks and Barron? Secondary is set.
Maneuver for Shemar and Grant? DL set.

If we get a good center in FA, we can even do something like Starks>Barron>charles Grant>Lundt>Capehart>Walker

First four picks pretty much all have to contribute significantly as rookies and at least two them need to be starters. The scouting will have to be absolutely on point. No more projects, no more kickers in the 3rd round, no weirdly ill-fitting picks, no more screwups.

Don't do it guys; get your hopes up for anything. You both know we will be scratching our heads come day one and two of the draft lol

This. Find me the most boring possible selection in the first round and take it to the bank.

DE, DL or OL, in that order.
Shemar Stewart makes me unhappy. Change my mind

I actually see him going top 10 in some early mocks.

You can't have 15 guys go in the Top 10. If Starks goes earlier then someone else drops down. I'm perfectly fine with them standing pat for Starks, a top OT, trading down or even moving up for Graham.

My fear is the OT and DT are gone, as well as S. So we get a good Edge (maybe? I havent done much homework yet) CB or WR (imagine) we dont really need. I am hoping need matches BPA in the trenches or somewhere else like Safety.

BTW some ranking have Grant being early to mid second round?
At #11, want an immediate impact player, preferably OL or DL, that's a dog & loves the game of football. Is that too much to ask?
we seem to be in prime position to get a trent replacement

I don't know man, the top OTs are likely gone by #11 and the drop off between the next tackles aren't much. I've only started watching recently though so I could be wrong there. At #11; I'd go all in on a prime "prospect" regardless of position.

There I go again working myself up. We all know that this regime will reach for someone that none of us are talking about
I mean if will johnson is there at 11 you gotta take him, right?

Bro I no joke cracked up just now. It only took a minute of his "highlights" to understand why you said he makes you unhappy. He's trying a Von Miller impersonation and both he and his viewers are left unhappy with the results. Won't watch anymore of him until we draft him in April

My least favorite scenario right now is the corner, BUT yes. BPA. We would have 3 corners and two who can do slot day one putting this kid outside? I feel like we can reload the defense very well with this draft.

It also depends on what we do in FA as well. I'm sure much will change in our thinking by draft day.

100%. Assuming back to full health, he's your CB1 instantly and just a playmaker overall. Really liked watching him at Michigan.

YEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!! I just started getting more into watching him and I see Surtain. I don't think there's a chance in hell that he makes it to #11, kid is legit brah, easily the best CB in the class
