Skattebo round 2. No matter what.

No

He's the typeofrunner they can use. Powerful and able to catch passes. The problem is they need hel in other areas that have weakened. With the system the Nners use, a good O line can make an average runner look good.

Dont disagree, just not a fan of a RB in the 2nd. They traded up for a guy last year that should by the 1B

Unicorn RBs like Skattebo are too valuable. Need him. He allows the Niners to be physical and help CMC line out wide more. Take him and prosper.

If he's a unicorn why is he still around in R2?

Because too many people have your outdated great RBs aren't worth primo capital mindset.

Also, you're right. May need to trade up to get him.

Sensational playmaker. Nobody like him with this style.

Nah, we see RBs that are considered unicorns go early all the time. He's not a unicorn

I'm all ears
With the production we get out of no name backs I think drafting a RB early is a huge mistake. I don't want to hear anybodys name called day one or two that isn't 300+ pounds.

Time to rebuild the trenches period.

Unless you consider Bijan (or are like me and not worried about Achane's size), the last "unicorn" at RB was Saquon and he went #2 over all in 2018. Since then:

2018:
Rashaad Penny, R1P27
Sony Michel, R1P31

2019
Josh Jacobs, R1P24

2020
Clyde Edwards-Helaire, R1P32

2021
Najee Harris, R1P24
Travis Etienne, R1P25

2022
None

2023
Bijan Robinson, R1P8
Jahmyrr Gibbs, R1P12

Unicorns, at any position absolutely go round 1, and early. And teams still draft RBs in the 1st round, if they're good enough as a prospect. It'll happen again this year with Jeanty unless he completely bombs athletic testing at an unprecedented level.

Guys like Saquon and CMC are guys I think of when I hear unicorn

any offensive/defensive linemen from that Georgia vs Texas game yesterday
Funny I was wondering if Jeanty made sense if there. How long was CMC extended? Kyle said a true every down do it all back is tough to beat ( and tough to keep healthy)
Been seeing some mocks with DT Derrick Harmon going to SF.

Seems similar to the other Oregon guys they've had success with, I'm really starting to warm to the idea of Kenneth Grant if they opt for DL
Tell me why I shouldn't like Emery Jones out of LSU.

He is a OT option to me but why shouldn't you like him? 40 time and needs more refinement

Thank you. Was just seeing a cut up of him and liked his raw power and that he's a natural RT.
