most of his tweets are correct and I end up finding a better source of what was posted later, but too lazy to post it lol..

Even though we have so many holes to fill if Membou or Graham fall into striking distance I'm all for trading up

Assuming it's going to take at least a 3rd-round pick to trade up, would you trade the 11th overall pick and Dominick Puni for either of those guys? Because that's the mentality the 49ers need to have going into the draft given the substantial number of holes on the roster.

Besides that, the depth of this draft in going be extremely strong on day 2/early 3 for the DL, which is 49ers' greatest need going into the draft. There are going to be a number of guys drafted in those rounds who are going to be impact starters and contributors from the jump. There's no need to panic and give away picks.

I fully expect the 11th pick to be a bit underwhelming as all of the consensus guys we like are likely gone by 11 as well as the 49ers being unable to trade back. The excitement of the draft doesn't really start until day 2 for me.

I like Graham but no way would I trade up for him. If he falls, ok. I wouldn't trade up from 11 for anyone, we have too many holes. For what it's worth, Gregg Cosell thinks Walter Nolan is the best DT prospect in this draft. I think Grant is a better NFL prospect than Graham.

There is a line of thinking that Graham was so successful and rarely took one on ones because he played next to Grant,

I don't really like any of the first round tackles aside from Harmon because he is the perfect DT for this scheme. A one gap, explosive disruptor with ideal size and length who can take on double teams. I think he would be a monster beside Bosa.
Nope. Stay put or trade back. More picks the better!!! Even getting 2026 picks is good. Stop trading away draft choices.

I can see why people think that about Nolen and Grant. They both have intriguing traits that appeal. Neither are anywhere near as technically gifted as Graham though. I'd put that like drafting Walker over Hutchinson, you fall for the traits, but just take the better more polished player and you won't regret it.

I would trade up for Graham, but we can't get as high as #5 to the Jags and if they take him so be it. I see him mocked to the Jets a lot, but I don't think he pairs well with Quinnen, so I wouldn't do that. Panthers could definitely do it at #8, but they have loads of needs. I would offer them our 3rd rd comp pick to see if that would fly. Probably a little short though, maybe a 5th next year as well as a sweetener would make sense.

Why on earth would we trade up with premium picks to take a DT in in probably the deepest DT draft ever??

Any time you can get a potentially great player onto your roster you do it. I'd give up 2 good players for 1 great one any day

I still like Nolen more. He's the ideal 3-tech.

also Graham over Grant and I don't understand how people could disagree there

I'm not sure it's that simple Hero (and I'm very surprised you aren't all over Graham) would I trade 11 and Puni? No, but would I trade 11 and Latu or Sermon or Tig Brown or Ambry Thomas? Absolutely

Well, to be blunt, I don't think John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan can afford to miss picks, so I'm leaning towards optimism and giving them the benefit of the doubt with Puni and the 2024 draft momentum going into this year. If the 49ers miss this draft, it's over. Most of us won't be even be on the webzone in the future when Jed York hires the next Jim Tomsula or Chip Kelly-esque head coach.

Also, for the record--Graham is my favorite player at the top of the draft. My dream draft right now starts with Graham in round 1 and Carson Schwesinger in round 2.

Yeah it's fair, but it's unrealistic to expect them to hit all 11 picks. I'd take 5-6 starters and if one of them was great I'd take 1 less. I'm with you that I think Graham will be great.

Yes, we're are unlikely to get another puni. I would sacrifice 3rd+ to grab one of those two without question
