2025 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

Agreed. Our offense really missed that blocking TE. We regressed last year when we let Woernwe leave for ATL.

This team goes as our DLine goes. It's what got us to a SB.

I fully expect us to go EDGE, LB, DT, DT

1. Mykel Williams - Edge
2- Carson Schweshinger - LB
3- Josh Farmer - DT
3- Alfred Collins - DT
4- Logan Brown - OT
5- Jaylin Conyers - TE
5- Joshua Gray - OG
7- Patrick Jenkins - DT
7- Cam Horsley - DT
7- Alijah Huzzie - CB

Overall outside of Schweshinger I dislike your first 4 picks (but I could live with both DTs in the 3rd but they will go higher)

I guess this is the draft to do it, I'm not excited a bunch of rookies in the trenches? Who's out there left in FA? 40 year old Calais Campbell?

It's common knowledge that defensive players can come in and start from day one and be impactful. It takes offensive guys years to develop and rarely make an impact as rookies.

We're not talking about 1 defensive player… We need 2 DTs, probably 2 DEs, a LB and we got big play Jiayir Brown back there at safety

Anyone who wants OL, starting looking at prospects down the list lol. They seem pretty happy with the OL.

End of 2026 - 49ers defense jumped back into the top tier and are well suited to be good for years... unfortunately the offense couldn't get it done and Purdy has regressed behind a suspect offensive line ...

Give it up man.

Your narrative isn't true no matter how many times you say it.

Last I checked we were top 3 in every offensive category with this Oline aside from last year when we were decimated by injuries.

I agree. And thankfully this draft is loaded with NFL ready linemen and linebackers.

On a straight up back up roll, he'd be good off the bench and maybe a very good mentor (I don't see why not). But no matter, most of the players linked to us in articles / who fans in here wanted, were all taken mostly by rival teams of 49ers

Started there and will probably be his last stop as well

Nope. Stay put or trade back. More picks the better!!! Even getting 2026 picks is good. Stop trading away draft choices.

They have plenty of ammunition to move this year and they already have another 11 picks next year. These next two draft seasons they have a chance to build another superbowl caliber team with cap flexibility.

Yes. That appears to be what their strategy is. It's probably smart, considering that Brock is about to get "paid."

Everyone and their bald headed granny been talking about how loaded the draft is on the defense side of it all... even in later rounds. That being said, we really need to think about a swing tackle early. TW is playing at a high level but only when he's on the field. He missed a lot of time in the past two seasons and I really don't think we have another Jaylon Moore on the team. FO will probably snag one sooner than we think, one who can slide in guard right away and incase one of the OT miss time, plus it prepares him for replacement of either side.

BTW, did we lose one of our 4th rd picks?

We just lost two lineman in FA that everyone s**t on for the majority of their time here. Those two in total got over $100M.

I think SF can find some lineman that can make s**t work. They got one of the best ones in the 2024 draft in the 3rd rd. They turned Colton into a serviceable RT.

Top 4 in yards per game, top 7 in YPC, top 13 in pts per game, 9th in 3rd down completion % etc etc. that's without 3 of our top offensive players being available most of the yr and guys hurt all over the place.

unless Brock turns into a pumpkin. The offense will be fine. They will get more players there and keep it going. They need to be better in the RZ and the defense needs to return to what they're suppose to be.

I'm sure they take a OT in the draft, but Burford is probably the swing tackle this yr.

I want Membou but don't hold your breath on them going OL early based off both their pressers
