Prefer to sign a veteran and I think thats what they do.

I'd take DJ Reed back and bump Lenoir to nickel and have Reed and Green on the outside.

I think he gets big money, but heard rumblings of your guy Samuel jr
Am I crazy saying saftey isn't a major need? I like Mustapha and Hufanga could use some depth. Think OL, DL, and CB with Ward likely gone are top priority

Definitely a need for a Deep / ball hawking type safety. In my opinion all our current safeties fit the same mold

Safety may or may not be a need, it depends on Hufanga re-signing and after that there's no real depth either. It's not like Ji'ayir Brown can't be replaced or too good to stop them from bringing in competition.

Yeah they somehow ended up with like four box safeties.
Niners need a Safety who can play in coverage and Mukuba would be a great fit for that role. Either him or his teammate Jahdae Barron would be great. Barron is a borderline 1st round value as the Thorpe award winner and Mukuba could be a late day 2 or early day 3 pick.

4 "John Lynch" types
Him or Rod Moore would be ideal 3rd round choices
