Gosh our D sucks! I am all for trading up if we are still at pick 11. Especially when we rarely blitz, we need some studs upfront.

Trade our 3rd and move for this generational talent. He looks like a beast. really looks like Donald.

Doubt sf gets him but if they did I'd be so stoked. he is an alumni of my HS. Go friars!

Doubt we can get him at #11. I'd love to see us drop back a bit in the 1st but move up in the 2nd. Can grab Derrick Harmon

DT looks deep this year, should be able to get a quality DT with our 2nd pick.

Told Phoenix in another thread that I'm trying hard to not get any hopes of getting him………and you ain't helping
If we do keep #11; this is a guy worth trading up for. He'd be what they thought Solomon Thomas was in taking him #3 overall

Why do you bother talking about any of these guys like they're sure things? Literally every year high end prospects flame out. It's just a dart board. Trade up? This guy could be better or worse than Kinlaw. Nobody knows.

Didn't you just say skattebo was an absolute lock and a unicorn and they should trade up into the 1st/2nd for him?

So don't talk about top end NFL prospects at positions of need for SF?
I'd give up one of our 3rd in a heartbeat to get this dude. Still have a higher end 2nd and 3rd. We don't need to draft 11 players.
go get talented players.

Moving one of our 3rds would get them to right around 7 overall. Would he be there at 7?

The 49ers are not in a position to trade up for anyone. They need every single pick to continue adding as many young players as possible on both sides of the ball. This roster extremely top heavy and old. Even if they nailed one blue chip talent on the DL, that wouldn't prevent another repeat of the 2024 season. Lynch and Shanny need to add as many young players as possible. Not only potential starting players, but also players that can immediately contribute on special teams as well--something that has gone neglected for too long now.
Simply put, they need another 2024 draft.
