Tank-A-Thon: 49ers Draft Position Tracker

I hope there is a run at positions we wont pick with our first pick,
eg QB
A QB Run would be nice

Not likely. Bad QB draft.

Not bad. Hoping they just sit BP and tank the last game.

They must not win this game against the Cardinals. Any chance at Kelvin Banks or Will Campbell is at 11 If one of them were to fall out of the top 10. 60 million going to Brock and his blindside Guardian must be one of these guys.

I could live with scourton or pearce jr if banks and Campbell were gone, but I'd rather see them trade down to get more picks and get Simmons or Ersery
The odds have changed quite a bit with Purdy ruled out. If Vegas is correct the 49ers will finish the season at #11.

11. 49ers (6-10) +4 at Cardinals (7-9)
12. Colts (7-9) -5 vs. Jaguars (4-12)
13. Cowboys (7-9) +4.5 vs. Commanders (11-5)
14. Cardinals (7-9) -4 vs. 49ers (6-10)

Go Cardinals! Let's not lose that #11 spot
Play that SLUG Brandon Allen who Shany likes so much. I guarantee the #11 pick with that. No way we can win. Cowboys don't have a chance vs the Commanders.

So if 49ers lose they pick #11
If they win they pick #13 or #14 ?

Doesn't sound like a huge deal, but so they must lose!
#11 is considerably more valuable and it's easier to trade up or down from #11 than #14
Also it's much better to pick ahead of the Cards and Cowboys

I've whittled the possibilities at 11 to the same three scenarios. We'll see if anything changes as we dive deeper into the draft process ( risers and fallers).

49ers can screw it up easily. If past high draft picks history means anything.

And they'll more than make up for it with all pros in the 3rd Warner and 5th Kittle and great players like Greenlaw 5th, Purdy 7th, Jennings 7th "if past draft picks history means anything."

Thanks for playing SD

49ers own 11 draft picks, I feel like they might trade up in this draft. Mason Graham here we go!!!

Trade up for Graham or Kelvin Banks or trade down.

Historical 49ers draft picks #11 thru #14
1980 - #13 Earl Cooper, RB
2007 - #11 Patrick Willis, LB
2010 - #11 Anthony Davis, OT
2020 - #14 Javon Kinlaw, DT

The 11th pick has been good to us.

We can't do any better than 10. And even that requires some unlikely help from the Saints who are underdogs in both games.
So this is like a 2021 year. Do we trade up again? Maybe not as high and for who?

Mason maybe?

If they trade three 1st round picks for some SLUG I'm going to punch somebody in the mouth. Stay put and pick the best available.

There's nobody worth that in this draft imo. Mason would be if he falls a bit and we give up maybe one future 1 to get him etc

I definitely don't think anybody is worth that. Trading up to #3. Stay put and pick best offensive/defensive line at #11. Then best offensive/defensive line a #43. That's a perfect draft for us. More value in that.

The highest Is trade up is maybe around 8 if Banks were to slide a bit. We'd have to get in front of the Bears to lock him down.

How far down would you trade? Both players you mentioned should be available in the 20s. Simmons might fall to the 2nd rd. Armand Membou is RT they should target in the 2nd rd. A 2nd rd pick and Ersery might be worth trading back

Graham, Carter and Johnson are long shots, but I'd run the card if any fall to 11. I'd be happy with Stewart or Simmons (pending medicals; if medicals are clean, he's gonna go this early so no, we can't get him in a trade down) at 11. Otherwise, I'd hope for an trade down. Grab Grant or an OT.

I am so against any prospect with injury flags given our past luck (aka NO luck) I think after Kinlaw Lynch said they updated their methodology and remove players with injury flags.
