12. Cowboys (5-8) at Panthers (3-10)
13. Dolphins (6-7) at Texans (8-5)
14. Colts (6-7) at Broncos (8-5)
15. Falcons (6-7) at Raiders (2-11)
16. Cardinals (6-7) vs. Patriots (3-10)
17. 49ers (6-7) vs. Rams (7-6)
18. Rams (7-6) at 49ers (6-7)

With a win over the Rams, the 49ers would fall to pick #18. With a loss, the range is pick #13 thru #17 depending on how the other teams with a 6-7 record perform.

If we lose it's time to go full tank mode and aim for 6-11. That would put us probably in the top 12.

Except all the other teams will tank like that South Park little league baseball episode.
Updated after the 49ers offense sputtered against the Rams. Based on the point spreads the likely outcome after this weekend is #15.

13. 49ers (6-8)
14. Dolphins (6-7) +3 at Texans (8-5)
15. Colts (6-7) +4 at Broncos (8-5)
16. Falcons (6-7) -4 at Raiders (2-11)
17. Cardinals (6-7) -6 vs. Patriots (3-10)

If the 9ers can't land Mason Graham do they go after his teammate Kenneth Grant? One possibility could be Jonah Savaiinae.

Hoping some bad team can pull an upset so we keep moving up. I see us finishing 1-2 in the last 3 so maybe 7-10. That will hopefully have us top 13.

A lot is gonna depend on what they do with Huff and Greenlaw. If both are gone they probably use an early pick for Javon Walker or Jihaad Campbell and then draft a Safety in the mid rounds. I could see them going DT in the 1st round and moving up from their 2nd round spot to get the LB. This could be a draft where you see Lynch trade future picks.

I don't disagree with this, but it's the same every year....move the OL down the road. We need to upgrade the OL talent! Yes to Savaiinae, or someone (or two) like him!

Savaiinae is perfect for this team, he could play LG, RG and RT and shuts down that right side. But I got a feeling they'll go defense with the first pick and spend money on veterans for offense in free agency.
Just one year I'd like them to just bite the bullet and spend their first 3 highest picks on OL...a year or two later, everyone would be going "look how dominant our OL is" instead of "why did we pick Kinlaw and (fill in the blank) that high when our OL is sucking" --Got to avoid the Joshua Garnett-type picks, though!

Their history suggests that they draft the front seven early in the draft (Solomon Thomas, Reuben Foster, Nick Bosa, Javon Kinlaw, Drake Jackson). Also, Warner was an early 3rd rounder. They have drafted an OL early twice (McGlinchey, Banks). They did try to spend on an "elite" Center (Richburg) and I suspect they might try that again with Dalman and then take a developmental OT later in the draft. It looks like a transitional year since there are so many needs.

I want Drew Dalman bad, but I really doubt ATL lets him walk happily to free agency. If he doesn't make it to free agency, I'm hoping they go for either Bradley Bozeman, Josh Myers or Ryan Kelly. Basically all the top Centers is who I hope they go after. Another option who is on the practice squad is Drake Nugent, I really wish they would give him a shot, he played pretty well in Preseason.
Updated. Colts and Bengals may swap depending on SOS.

11. Dolphins (6-8)
12. Colts (6-8)
13. Bengals (6-8)
14. Cowboys (6-8)
15. 49ers (6-8)
16. Falcons (6-7) -4 at Raiders (2-11)
17. Cardinals (7-7)

Draft position doesn't really matter if we are relying on luck. We've already squandered two #3 overall picks (Solomon Thomas & Trey Lance).

I was just mentioning in the Purdy thread that we have to understand our systems and bring in guys who fit our systems on defense and offense. Hell, we even need to draft with Special Team's strength's in mind. Our ST units are pretty bad and it almost seems like we treat our ST units the same way we treat our O-line. When we were winning Super Bowls Bill Walsh seemed to have a plan for everything, he wasn't showing up drunk or operating on emotions.

I think we have the right people in the building, I just think the coaching staff and scouting department needs to be overhauled a little bit.
11. Dolphins (6-8) -1.5 vs. 49ers (6-8)
12. Colts (6-8) -4.5 vs. Titans (3-11)
13. Bengals (6-8) -7 vs. Browns (6-8)
14. Cowboys (6-8) +4 vs. Buccaneers (8-6)
15. 49ers (6-8) +1.5 at Dolphins (6-8)
16. Falcons (7-7) -9.5 vs. Giants (2-12)
17. Cardinals (7-7) -4 at Panthers (3-11)

Based on the point spreads the 49ers would move up to #12 with wins by the favorites.

Lose the rest of our games and get a top #10 pick - to trade away for Deone's boy. Brock and the #10 pick for the #1 pick, for our QB of the future. The time is now knuckleheads. Let's get it.
