Tyler Warren - TE/Offensive Weapon

Yea, I am seeing him around 18th
This guy looks like a beast. I think I would take him over the Michigan TE.

How would you feel if the Niners took Warren with their first round pick? It would be a typical Shanahan move to draft a "skill player" who scores TD's instead of investing in the players who run block or pass protect for guys like this. The Draft Network just made that prediction in their latest mock.

Is Shanahan planning on running 2 sets frequently ala New England? If not then it'd be a waste of resources to go TE that early.
Are we really going to be caught by surprise when Trent retires? I do love Warren, though.

Weirdly I feel better about Jaylon Moore replacing TW then I do about Brendel and Banks remaining as starters.

Sign FA center, draft Warren

If Kyle really did commit to running more 12 and 22 personnel, having Kittle and Warren could create all kinds of matchup issues for defenses. Both guys are ferocious blockers and capable receivers that can rack up yards after the catch and simply whoop up on linebackers and most safeties.
i'll take him at 17
Guy is a beast at TE! Watching him now vs. Notre Dame.

100 catches for the season.

Good blocker.

Are there 11 players in this draft better than him? Niners really need OL & DL but damn, he would be hard to pass up.

I read here that there's another TE that they would take ahead of TW. not sure how reliable was that take but i seen a mock where TW went as far the mid twenties.

i will either move up from 11 to Graham or Stay at 11 and move up from our 2nd pick to get Tyler

LT/RT & Tyler would do wonders for us

If Carter, Campbell, Banks, and Graham are all gone id consider but the lines have to be the priority. Actually if that happens I'd probably trade down to the 20s and get another 2nd rd.pick. If Kittle wasn't still playing at an All Pro level I would feel differently

The other TE being Loveland from Michigan?

Count me in as being ecstatic if the Niners could somehow get both a top O-linemen & Warren!

Ha, you mentioned Carter and he just came through with a big sack right now.

You're absolutely right, the trenches have to be the priority.

Starks. We'd have an elite secondary. Can get beef for the interior on day 2 for both sides abd possibly a RT as well.
