Tyler Warren - TE/Offensive Weapon

This. We will have a lot of options at 11. I can't see TE in the top 5 of moves to make with our first round pick.

I like him a lot as a player but unless Kyle is committed to running a 2TE offense, it'd be a waste of resources. You're hoping for an immediate starter and full time contributor.

Well, it fits within the teams stated preference to prioritize players with the ball in their hands over other things. It would also allow Kyle to get more creative and replace juice if they ran him like Harbaugh used to run Delanie Walker. It's a luxury pick for sure. Only question mark for me is he's only got one year of production whereas Bowers produced a lot more. As I get older I start to see the value in guys who produce consistently and everywhere they go.

Not really any exciting OL prospects this year. The difference between OL1 and OL6 is almost nothing. So, take a real playmaker. If DT1 and DE1 are gone - Warren would be a great pick.

Need to bring back physicality and the ability to close out games. He helps you do both.

I wish they would chuck that strategy. We had a guy who should've been MVP in CMC, a 1st team All-Pro n Kitlle, 2nd team All-Pro in Aiyuk, and Deebo who had 1000 all purpose yards. It's not likely we will get a better performance from the top skill position guys collectively.

Only thing left to do on offense is to upgrade OL, get a TE2, and a fullback replacement that can be a triple threat. Outside of OL, I wouldnt want us using a day 1 or 2 pick on those things. The biggest pluses we can add to our team are on the defensive side of the ball. We could land two starters and quality depth if we play our cards right.

TE ... it'd be a waste of resources.

Can't waste a high pick on a TE, or WR, or RB etc
49ers were 29th in points allowed!!! the defense was BAD
We have urgent needs at DT, CB, S and maybe at DE and LB

They need to really dig deep in draft analysis, and uncover hidden gems like Puni, or their superbowl window is over

It's considered a great draft for: DT, CB, S, TE
That is right where the 49ers weaknesses are. So if 49ers agree, it's an opportunity to load up in these areas

1 11 DT (or trade down if good trade offered)
2 43 DE or OL – BPA
3 75 CB
3 99 TE
4 111 S
4 137 DE or DT
4 138 CB
6 187 TE/FB
7 228 OL
7 254 LB

Free agents to sign: C-Drew Dalman, NT, Safety and LB (usually there are many good ones available and not too expensive)

I've seen Warren climbing a tad. He may be gone at 11. I'm also a big fan. Yes we have other needs but man, our RZ offense stinks! Imagine having to cover Kittle and Warren at the same time? Yowza! Plus Warren is a great blocker and just brings a certain swag to this team.
