He's probably a 3rd or 4th round pick, where I'd definitely draft him. But Mason and Mitchell are free agents, so we definitely could use one or two RB's.

I think Mason is a RFA so he will be back.

We don't need to draft RB3 in the 3rd/4th rd. That's prime territory for your IOL, big DT type guys or secondary.

Would be cool if see Cam running over dudes in red/gold. I'm sure folks have said this but he reminds me of Mike Alstott (I'm sure lynch would love that) He's not a top 100 guy for me as of right now though.

I agree. I wouldn't waste a Day 2 pick on a RB. If anything we can take a flyer on someone in the 6th or 7th or just go the UDFA route which I would be totally fine with also. Too many other holes.

Yeah cam is fun to watch, he's got some Mike Alstott to him (smaller for sure)….I'm sure lynch would love to have that. Outside of the top 100 for me though.

The Niners currently have the most cap space ($50 mil) of any team. They will probably resign Mason sonce CMC'c future is a little cloudy.
his character keeps coming up and supposedly he thinks/said he's the best player ?

not sure if that kinda character fits in with Lynch

That cap space is getting rolled over. They will have around $63M next yr (9th most). I'm pretty sure Mason will cost next to nothing since he's a RFA. Similar to what Jeff Wilson was.

resign Dre, extend Kittle, get a starting center, and DL/secondary depth in FA.

Not a good look
I'll wait for the 40.

Yup. What do you think they do with Hargrave? My understanding is the restructure already provides them cap space with cutting him. He is not a good run defender, but he def brings juice as an interior pass rusher

lol stupidest post I've read in draft forum

there's no player on the team that is loved more by his teammates

and he says he thinks he's the best RB

I think Hargrave is gone post June 1st (or they ask for a pay cut)…if they add some DL help prior.

I've been hearing on KNBR from both the guys that cover the team and Greg Papa and Tim Ryan that it's likely they cut Hargrave and then resign him.
I would take Skattebo in the late 3rd/early 4th with zero reservations. I think he'll be a solid chess piece that you can move around all over the place, similar to Taysom Hill but less passing ability. He's an absolute dog too, 100% gamer that ran himself into the ground and was still going on nothing but fumes and adrenaline yesterday. Just like with Jennings you need those guys that are intense competitors that keep the fire burning and will do whatever you ask of them.
