Josh Conerly Jr-OT/OG-Oregon

He's gonna be an ideal fit for Shanahan schemes. Pretty explosive out of the block and getting to the second level.

thought he played well vs Carter and PSU.

He needs to get stronger. Thorne has him as OT5 and a 3rd rd grade. I'm assuming he goes much higher. I would feel more comfortable taking him with our 2nd than using a top 12 pick on him.

It depends how he works out. If he is super athletic he could go much higher than you think. He appears athletic in the way he can move his feet and slide around covering all the angles blocking.

Thorne already says he's very athletic. What he's saying is his anchor/footwork is very inconsistent. The strength isn't there overall. His comp is Joe Noteboom. I don't see how that's a top 15 pick right now

What if he runs really fast and does cone drills really fast or something? Like more athletic than normal for the position. Somebody could get excited about him. We will see. Slotting is yet to be determined. I'm not a huge combine guy and I feel how you play says a lot more. But if somebody is off the charts athletic it will be noticed. They assume they can get him into an NFL weight program and make him stronger. While also refining technique to anchor better.
I see him in round 3 a bunch as of today. That would be ideal.

Not a chance he goes that low assuming he doesn't murder anyone between now and the draft.

We likely only see him once at pick 11. By some miracle we get Graham at 11 and Conerly is there in the 2nd I'd be s**tting my pants

Yeah for sure. Anyone we are talking about now will climb up by draft day, especially OT and Edge etc.

If KC get him, it's lights out for everyone else. That foot quickness combined with ref sanctioned holding.

I see Oregon all the time, he has looked like a good fit to me as well. The Penn State game he seemed to rise to the occasion, probably in the conversation for sure. I don't think he will make it out of the 1st, everyone needs OT help

Agree!

For once can we get something like this to happen!
