Not me i'd rather have a true edge then a DT.
Having 2 great edge rushers >> having 1 great edge and 1 great DT.

So I guess you want to still have problems stopping the run. lol
Name the two great pass rushers on the Chiefs defense? Name the two great pass rushers on the Patriots defense?

Agree. Ultimately what you need are the best players, whether that is another defensive end or a disruptor and space eater in the middle. The article below discussed the troubles Aldon Smith faced when Justin Smith went down with injury. You'll notice how similar it sounds to they way Bosa is perceived.

A good example is in fact Aldon Smith, who basically went invisible without Justin Smith. Put Chris Jones or Aaron Donald next to Bosa, how much you wanna bet Bosa becomes the #1 pass rusher again with everyone on his nuts. But it also does matter who the D-coordinator is I guess, Bosa excelled with Saleh and Ryans and became invisible to average with Wilks and Sorensen. But yah, I still say a dominant DT in the middle is better than having two great pass rushers on the outside.

I think a much more common sentiment is "damn, this front office is wasting Joe Burrow with a putrid defense," or, "damn, get Trey Hendrickson some help!"
I actually think Hubbard is a solid DE for being a 3rd rd pick.

I mean who's Chris jones in this draft? What DT do you want?
Not saying there has to be a Chris Jones, but a solid DT that can do both stop the run and rush the passer. IMO Mason Graham fits that bill, along with his teammate Kenneth Grant. There's not really any pass rushers worth taking at #11 anyway.

same
I've been wanting us to pair Bosa with another elite DE since 2020
and the only way you can do that with the cap is to find a rookie
so I think it would be worth it to trade pick 75 or a future pick to move up a few spots if Carter is still there at 7 or 8
run stopping DTs can found in FA or on day 3 of the draft

Graham is way more polished than Grant as a pass rusher. Grant is not worth drafting in the top 20 imo.

He was my draft crush the year he came out. Then I let people talk me off of him listening to them talking about bending the edge and what not when they were discussing Harold Landry.
I just remember Hubbard wasn't flashy but he kept making plays. Which is exactly what I see with Jack Sawyer

We did that- Anderson, Givens, some of our FAs, and trades as well. An average run stopper isn't going to cut it. It hits different when you have an elite run defender that can also rush the passer. Our defense will go nuclear if we had Mason Graham.
