I've been wanting us to pair Bosa with another elite DE since 2020
and the only way you can do that with the cap is to find a rookie

so I think it would be worth it to trade pick 75 or a future pick to move up a few spots if Carter is still there at 7 or 8

run stopping DTs can found in FA or on day 3 of the draft

After tonight he's going top 5.

Oh, he was always going top 5

Honest question. Have you ever watched the Bengals and thought to yourself, "damn I wish I had this sam hubbard kid on the niners!"

I think a much more common sentiment is "damn, this front office is wasting Joe Burrow with a putrid defense," or, "damn, get Trey Hendrickson some help!"

He was my draft crush the year he came out. Then I let people talk me off of him listening to them talking about bending the edge and what not when they were discussing Harold Landry.

I just remember Hubbard wasn't flashy but he kept making plays. Which is exactly what I see with Jack Sawyer

I think Hubbard and Sawyer make a fine 3rd defensive edge, but aren't someone that'd make you feel like the starting line is set if they're your number 2.

he's a top 5 talent for sure, but that doesn't always = top 5 pick

1. TEN -- QB or Hunter
2. CLV -- QB or Hunter
3. NYG -- they have Burns and former #5 overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux at DE
4. NE -- definitely possible, but their WR and OL situation is extremely dire
5. JAX -- they have Josh Allen-Hines and former #1 overall pick Trayvon Walker at DE
6. LVR -- they have Crosby and former #7 overall pick Tyree Wilson at DE

all those teams need OL, Graham is also a top 5 talent, one could fall in love with Jeanty, a third QB could rise, etc.
not saying this means he's NOT going top 5, just saying it's still not a LOCK in my opinion

is Carter's shoulder an issue.. i know a lot of people here are tired of picks with prior injuries?
At #11 we won't get Carter

Should be a non-issue. If anything, it's helped his stock. He's out there dominating 1v1 with one arm, and he loves football enough to do it.
It has been known that Abdul has the highest ceiling in this class...but since he's out of range, who's next? Talking ceiling only.
No love for Mike Green?

That's a good question. From the list provided on the first post? For me it's James Pearce
I read garret may want out of Cleveland? Trade pick 11 for him 😂
I'd trade Bosa for Garret.

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone have any inside info on Mike Green from Marshall? Seems like a small, quick edge rusher comparable to Leonard Floyd. I feel like we'd benefit from a quick edge rusher like we had with Dee Ford. Our defense was at their best with Bosa and Ford on the edges. The speed from Ford and the overall effectiveness of Bosa made a great tandem. I know we had great DTs at the time too, but we won't be able to build everything all at the same time. Green seems like a good, fast edge rusher that finishes with sacks.
I'm all for adding another edge rusher but I think they need a big tough interior guy more. it depends on who's there when the pick. Both positions look stronger this year than O line.

Mykel Williams?
Abdul Carter of James Pearce Jr. - outside of that I don't want in Rd 1.
