I agree with Phoenix that I don't think it's a big deal. In fact, the extra years in college are almost like sending a young player to the minor leagues to hone their craft and build their bodies instead of having them do it in the NFL. Not all guys will improve in those aspects once they get into the league. You're basically eliminating that risk at the NFL level and getting a more finished product.
I just look for stuff that translates well to the NFL and what Alexander has is really great hand use. He'll get pressures in the NFL just off of that but he's also pretty athletic for his size and he did well at the Senior Bowl, showing that he can hang with the bigger school guys too.
I think what Saleh and Kocurek would like is that he's versatile enough to be played all over the defensive line. You can move him around similar to a bigger Omenihu.
