Love for the game or coachability doesnt miraculously make you not stiff when covering shifty elite athletes who can cut on a dime

I know this is a Starks thread but why dont we go from random film that is in public domain ?

Completely whiffs on a RB in his gap at 6:59.

The ugly play by falling and then taking a bad angle at 7:10 ?

the ugly angle on a rb in space who simply OUTRUNS him at 11:19 ? that RB is not an NFL rb, hes just a guy...kaleb jackson

at 9:53 has to chance to lay the wood on a erratic catch, and...well at least he makes the tackle, Ill give him that.

thats not even coverage, thats just playing the run...his supposed strength

and boy in coverage...what the HELL that at 20:35 ? looks ugly, not just him misjudging the play, but him turning his hips around looks plain ugly and he stumbles a lot while changing direction

he has the burst and speed and athleticism and yes he can recover, but hes not a coverage guy and he will get picked on

This will be the last I comment on this thread since it's the Starks thread. It will be interesting to revisit this post in a year or two. You want to pick out a play here in there and roast Emmanwori.

You keep bringing up Kyle Hamilton. Yet you forget he looked stiff in coverage and got burnt in a viral video in training camp. I guess he turned out to be a bust too…

Kyle Hamilton had nowhere the brutal tape Nick does in coverage. Kyle Hamilton's physicality also showed on tape. I dont care about viral videos from training camp, I watch game film. Remember that viral video where Marquise Goodwin roasted Sherman in one on one drills in TC before I think 2019 season ? Didn't mean a thing. Remember Jamarr Chase having a brutal TC dropping a lot of balls ? Didn't mean a thing.

Neither of two top safeties in this draft impress me.

I'd be upset if they took Starks with #11 pick.

Who are you hoping for; or who would you take at #11? Aside from the obvious Abdul Carter or Graham
I have to come here and agree with Naysayers, but I don't think Starks is worthy of our pick at #11. I don't see a game changer and think you just have to be at Safety to justify it. Hamilton was supposed to go there and dropped like a stone, he would have been worth it but so few are.

Especially considering where we've found Mustapha and Hufanga, I'd keep drafting Day 3 safeties and see how many stick.

You can't keep just drafting safeties just for the sake of drafting them. That's how they ended up with like 4 box safeties and not one capable of playing a centerfielder role.

I don't think so, there's so much quarters coverage these days, that the center field type is losing its relevance.

You're trippin my friend if you don't think Starks is a game changer. This is exactly the type of Safety the 49ers need. They need to stop b******tting at the Safety position and either spend some serious draft capital or money on a Safety.
