I think Starks is clearly better.
I would put Mukuba and Xavier Watts close who could possibly be there with our second pick
if we wanted to go in that direction.

I agree. If they don't go with Starks then Mukuba and Watts could be possibilities in the 2nd although I expect Watts to go somewhere in the late 1st/very early 2nd round. Both of those are also more free safety types that can play back deep in coverage.

Nick Emmanwori will be in the mix around the end of the 1st too
I think he could move up in the top 10 after all his work outs, kid is special.
I did some home work and yeah I have 0 issues if this is the guy that falls to 11. Lenoir - Starks - Mustapha - Green. That my friends is a freaking SOLID unit.

Need a nickel for sure, but lets assume they address DT.... the middle of the D now looks insane.

Bosa - Omarr Norman-Lott - Maliek Collins - Floyd
Warner - Greenlaw
Lenoir - Jahdae Barron - Green
Mustafa - Starks

Gotcha, if they could do a Starks/Barron/Lott/Belton draft in first 3 rounds that would be amazing. Could look at C in FA and maybe take a flyer on bosa if he's cut
Also, I believe it was you about redoing an entire position group in one swoop, Starks/Barron combo would have that secondary setup for a long time to come

Would be completely onboard with this, Starks at 11. Would seem to be just the S this team needs. The question is...he's sitting there at 11 and seems like the BPA or one of them at that point - do the Niners draft him? I would hope so, yet depends who is also still around.

That would be terrific.
Take a lot of guts to not pull the trigger on OL in the first 3 rounds, though.

I don't think this draft is deep at o-line and certainly weak at the top. I have been looking at and doing some mocks. 90% of the time the opportunity is to restack the defense. Especially the dline. We could take two DT and an EDGE in the first three rounds, but all of them could start day one, with all of them rotating.

We really have a lot of areas of need and if we can literally overhaul the d line into a top unit via one draft why not do that? If Starks is there, but a OT who is probably no where near the prospect he is... I am going Starks.

I would buffer this buy drafting 3-4 o line prospects late and I would hope 1 will hit.

This. We can add an elite prospect either Starks. As far as D-line goes, they were as much as a part of the problem as O-line was with teams running down throats. Id like an elite center, but last year was the time to address that. We missed the boat. No need to overdraft. I want 3 OL MINIMUM...but under no circumstances should they reach. We need viable talent that can contribute year 1 and in the seasons to come.
Agreed
