He's a lock for the top 10 now. Might go ahead of Abdul Carter now because of the foot issue

He has a thin, slight frame. Not sure he will hold up at the point of attack in the NFL. You can probably run right at him all day. Not sure he is a lock for top 10. Maybe and maybe not. He's athletic. We know that.

He is a Brian Burns clone. They are almost identical.

If Carter is medically red flagged he could drop.

Didn't Burns have better tape though...

I've watched every game he has played in college, he is excellent against the run and has a lot of tackles for loss. Not sure where you are getting your info.
1.56 ten yard split. That's much better than I expected with reports of him having "stiff hips".
7.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 38 tackles - 2024

9.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 interception, 27 tackles - 2023

That says pretty decent production to me. But I don't think it jumps out at me for numbers compared to his athleticism. Certainly not what Mike Green puts up.

The first three games of the year got out of hand and Pearce only got 56 snaps before they pulled starters. That along with them using a huge rotation of d linemen limited snaps but made UT one of the better defenses before they lost their starting MLB. I am hoping one of the badass interior dline guys is there at 11, but it we take Pearce, I won't be crying. I've seen him actually play, I know he is a beast.

Ok maybe he's good. I wouldn't hate the pick. I still would rather have OT, DT, maybe Starks at S. Perhaps this guy or Mike Green. Just have to see what falls to us.

I like Starks but I'm not taking him over Pearce. And I sure as hell am not taking Mike Green over him.

Probably finally got around to watching his film. Looking at how deep the DT class is this year I am starting to like the idea of getting Pearce at 11 unless Graham is there, then grabbing a DT with our second, then hopefully land a free safety in the third. This is the deepest class at DT that I can ever remember, there's quality into the third rounds that can immediately help the team. I am fairly confident that there will be a stud DT there at our second pick.

Dude no he isn't. Theres a reason he didn't do the agility tests. He's not remotely close to Burns as far as bend/twitch goes. Burns was way more defined as a pass rusher as well.

Mike Green played for Marshall who is most definitely not in the SEC. The level of competition aint even close.
