Donovan Ezeiruaku-Edge-Boston College

Bend, lots of bend, its kind of freaky how quickly and smoothly this guy is able to work his way around tackles. Long arms and far more developed in his pass rush approach than Drake Jackson. Undersized and will likely have to start out as a third down specialist but he has the talent to be a very good pure edge in the NFL.

My 2nd favorite edge after Sawyer (don't want edge in round 1)

I'm disappointed Dani Dennis-Sutton is returning to Penn state, he would have been a good option in the 2-3 round range.

Going into the year, I had Dani Dennis-Sutton projected as someone who would raise his stock to a top 50 pick. But he played like a 4th or 5th round pick for much of this year, and if he's going back, he probably got that same feedback from the committee.

As for OP, I really like Ezeiruaku. He reminds me of Liatu Latu in that he's a very skilled pass rusher with a mature and refined pass rush approach. Very active with his hands. He's bendier than liatu too. But I dont think he's quite the prospect. Hes smaller, and has less juice. I worry that if his athleticism isn't at a plus NFL level, and if his size profile prohibits him from ever having a true speed to power aspect to his game, he may never turn into a 3-down, double digits sack kinda guy.

In the late 2nd round, I definitely think the juice is worth the squeeze. It's going to be hard to find an OT or an edge rusher outside of round 1 that is ready to contribute from the start, and with only one 1st, Ezeiruaku is one of the better picks you can make on day 2 if we elect to go tackle firsr. I'm hoping we can trade around to get an OT, an Edge and Jahdae Barron before round 3.

I like the idea of adding some speed off the edge. I'm not worried about smaller size if they play with power, which it looks like he does.

Reminds me a little of Brandon Graham, when he came out.
DPR at the next level. He's fun to watch, I'm just not sure he's a 3 down guy in SF.
You are right, I agree with you.
I think I'd be ok with either him or Mike Green at 11. Both these guys are looking like 1st round picks and would bring that speed off the edge we have been missing since Dee Ford.
In an ideal world, he lasts until round 3. But he'll rise up boards because of his measurables. That arm length

I was hoping and thinking the same thing at our 3rd rounder before this. We might have to trade up from there if we go on different positions on our first 2 picks.
I'd have zero issue taking him in the 2nd, if he's even there at that point. Tremendous edge rusher with quick hands and good bend and leverage.
