That's Membou at #11. Although I prefer a trade down for sure.

There are 20-25 starter quality DL in this draft. More than enough picks to grab at least 3 of them even if outside the 1st round.

Trade back to 17. Pick up extra 3rd and 4th

1. Jihaad Campbell LB
2. Braydon Swinson EDGE
3. Darious Alexander DL
3. Jared Wilson C
3. Hollin Pierce T
4. CJ West DL
4. Josh Farmer DL
4. Savion Jones EDGE
4. Jamaree Caldwell DL
5. Luke Kendra G

Wouldn't be mad..

Weird. It lasted one day for you to post another mock. Enough man

I will do as I please.
Considering that free agency got the Niners no starters, below is the model for the draft
1986 Draft
Larry Roberts
Tom Rathman
Tim McKyer
John Taylor
Charles Haley
Steve Wallace
Kevin f*gan
Don Griffin

Guarantee you he's a gold helmet on the draft board. Highest character in draft, team captain and leader, loves football!

Yup the kid oozes high character and an attitude/will that makes me a believer that he will not fail regardless of where he plays. But I really think that he can do the Parsons thing and play Will for us in base and rush the passer in Nickel and be highly successful at both. I love Walker

I will have to watch more of him. Haven't watched him cause of the tweener

The analysis I have heard is that he is better at edge but needs to improve at LB. He's only 243 pounds. He is too small to play edge in this defense. I don't want anything to do with him. I would rather look at Mykel Williams, Shemar Stewart, Mike Green, and Pearce Jr. at edge.

There's a mock draft thread where you can post as many as you want. Just saying

Would you pass on Mason Graham at DT who weighs 296?

That was a nice draft even though they didn't have a first round pick. Good thing they nailed it because the next season they got one starter (Harris Barton) out of 10 picks. The others were just names that barely saw the field. Haley turned out to be the best in 1986 and he was their 5th overall pick. Most fans had never heard of him while he played at James Madison. Who ever saw their games on TV?

It just shows that luck has a lot to do with it. Players need to fall into your lap or slip under the radar.

Also; how much do you think Leonard Floyd weighs? Floyd was 240 coming into the league

What about the guy we've been trying to replace since 2019, Dee Ford?
Ugh we just missed the playoffs but not quite bad enough to get a top prospect, there's a chance one falls but I doubt it

Ford was more of a third down pass rusher and Floyd sucked against the run, one of the reasons they cut him. It's not that I don't think that Jalon can ball, I just don't think he's the fit here. I'm all about BPA but the player needs to make sense for what the team wants to do.

Ford wasn't a base end. Armstead played end in base then kicked inside. Floyd was never signed to be a base end but when Yetur Gross Matos was injured we had no-one else.

Walker wouldn't be a base end here either. We could have YGM back as a big end in base (if he isn't cut) or draft a guy to play that Armstead role. Base end, move inside to nickel, like Jared Ivey or Jordan Burch.

I think he plays closer to 320 like when he was at Michigan

Nah man. Let captain flip flop post a new mock draft every day for the next 40 days :)
This Draft has all the makings of a Classic two for one trade. If you don't get a game changer that falls to 11th just move back and get two quality starter.
It will be someone/something no one saw coming. Hearts will be broken and swords shattered and everyone will go bonkers and say why?????!!!!!!!!!!!!
