Hey man he's a superstar though

I know where you're going, but you've got to accept that if we're going to have the discussion, the teams above us will have an even harder one.

Teams ahead of us don't have CMC on a fresh extension either

ill add this as well

I think Shemar Stewart or Mykel Williams should be the pick, Grant and Harmon would be much safer. I wouldn't mind a CB if they truly find one of them that they believe fits in our scheme but damn we have to reassemble the trenches especially defending the run game.

For me if I'm looking at what SF values, their scheme and measurables.

Grant isn't gonna be the pick. They want true pass rushers on the interior. They don't value CB enough (and find scheme fit DBs later) either.

I wouldn't want Stewart, but I'll bet money coach K is thinking he's got Ziggy 2.0. Williams fits the profile and can already start in base.

I keep going to Harmon because he fits SF in a ton of ways

I like Grant more than Harmon, agree I don't really see us taking a CB guess what I was trying to say is if they truly see a star in Barron or Johnson I trust Lynch he's done a damn good job drafting DBs only miss I can think of is Brown but he's still young and might bounce back

Heard a report that the Raiders FO is masturbating to his highlights
i'm starting to think we should take one of the premier corners at 11

Highly unlikely. I never get what I want. Although last year was close enough.

Unsurprisingly, it doesn't look like there will be much trading back in the first round.

Not from 11. I dont think Jeanty is there, so its going to have to be someone desperate for a QB and wanting to secure their guy. More probable is the Colts wanting to get a TE. Only problem there is moving after Miami who probably has a similar draft board to us needing OL, DL, CB.

That was my guy.
One of the biggest and most common mistakes that bad teams make is drafting aan offensive weapon when the O line and D lines need more attention. What often happens is a good or even great player suffers because of lack of support. We've seen this story so many times. It's one reason some teams stay bad for years.

the lack of top-heavy prospects causes this and yeah...what this does is devalue your returns even if you manage to trade back because there are so many teams who would like to trade back versus very few who want to trade up

the 2013 draft is regarded as one of the worst top heavy drafts of all time, and dolphins moved up from 12 to 3 only giving up an additional overall 42 pick. they of course took Deion Jordan so it didnt work out for them either.
Gimme Mason Graham or Membou.

I still predict that Mason Graham will fall to the 49ers, and they'll take him.
