With the 11th overall pick..

all signs may be pointing to stewart

When Saleh was hired in 2017, his first job was to fix the run defense after Chip Kelly destroyed it.

Now we are in a similar situation. I am almost 95% confident that Shemar Stewart is the pick. Hes not going to give you anything in pass rush. They're just drafting a guy that can set the edge really well.

Anything specific?

Pretty wild that's it comes up the week of the draft

So if Harmon and Nolen are on the board at 11, which is it? Character concerns vs injury?

How about neither!
This is the correct answer.

You can get a guy later if all we want is an edge setter.

Jared Ivey, Jordan Burch, Olu Oladejo, Savion Jones, Elijah Roberts, Tyrion Ingram Dawkins .

All should be available in round 3 and later

Yah okay I believe the report.

Wouldn't really say it's one report there's multiple. Same thing being said for Will Johnson and his knee long term/lack of top end speed could cause him to fall a bit.

These things always come out this week, could be for leverage or something legit. Just don't want another Kinlaw situation.

I've not seen anything that makes me out on Nolan because of character concerns. People need to get used to college players bouncing around and seeking money. If taking guys off their boards because players want more money, then teams are going to lose out on even more great talent moving forward. Many NFL players aren't passionate about the NFL in the manner the fans want who still have great careers. These are people just like us. They want to provide for themselves and their families. Also the concern that he takes plays off is baseless.

You must have missed the part where he supposedly has a history of walking out in the middle of practice because he's frustrated.

Wow! So it's not just RBs that gets hurt?

Now you're just trying too hard for a narrative. I never said DL don't get hurt. I said RBs get hurt more than any position. If you disagree prove it

Just always thought it was a silly argument to use. Especially since all 4 defensive linemen they drafted early has missed significant time. Every position gets hurt. Doesn't matter who gets hurt more.

Anyway, I seen the report chuckled and thought of my bestie.

Passion? Cares? This still doesn't disqualify him in my book. We need talent.

You got a link of that?

According to Fowler, some scouting reports for Nolen mention he has a "history of walking off the practice field mid-session due to frustration."

Don't want another Kinlaw either. But we are always gonna hear rumors and b******t a week before the draft, it's nothing new.

Check out Stewart's stuff from the senior bowl. Don't think it's a crazy projection to see how much he can show in the future as a pass rusher especially in our scheme and with Bosa being on the other side.
