Yeah I distain Arron Donald not just cause he was a ram but going into a chiefs game he said he's going to test Alex Smith's leg after he miraculously came back from a life threatening injury and there's a play where he literally grabbed Alex at his shoulder pads and dropped his whole body weight on that leg. That is such a weird thing to say about Mykel.

You could have said he has a really slow getoff and first step, and that would be completely true
You could have said he has passive hands and wins mostly on power/bullrushes and needs to develop technique....and it would be true
You could have said he might have to move inside from edge and have an Arik Armstead like ceiling in the NFL...and I could see that, for sure

but plays like Jane ? nah. he plays at his size. he doesnt get moved off the ball in the run game by blockers, he pursues the runner often from the opposite side of the play and makes plays there, and in general knows where the ball or ballcarrier is and tracks the plays well. he might not be violent enough to run people over consistently, but he doesnt miss many tackles.

thats not jane to me.

Yeah not a Jane. Dude is only 20. And he is not afraid to take on pulling guards and attack them. He maintains his gap. He is not toolsy enough and the motor isn't red hot but he isn't weak or scared or lackadaisical.
