With the 11th overall pick..

yes i thought about this. jags and panthers are perhaps wild cards. not sure what those teams will do

Mykel Williams

Doesn't sound like Walker or Green to me, we need power at DL more than pass rush at this point
Curious if the trades back that do happen fall under the normal draft chart values. If theres not alot of teams willing to move up, you may be able to offer less than previous years.

Always worst case scenario….I feel ya.

I mean he could always be talking and JTT or Jackson in the 2nd as well. Production and bigger DE that can set the edge.

Walker is a little different if you want him to play LB in heavy packages and then edge on passing downs. But for Green, Pearce, Ezeiruaku, they are tempting but too much luxury right now. Maybe spend a late pick on a designated pass rusher like Ryland-Powell, Rucker, Q Robinson, Tyler Baron, etc.

Ideally trade back from 11 to early 20s then trade up from 43 to later 20s

I'm preparing for a Stewart 1st round and a Isaiah Bond 2nd with a RB in the 3rd kinda draft.

we gotta stop thinking about trade down, it's just not in the cards this year.

I actually feel pretty optimistic after last yrs draft. I'm expecting similar results. Good young starters, probably not a bunch of pro-bowlers.

You really going to trot out a pre-game warm up rep as a reason to draft someone?! Poor from you, worse from Reid.

I'm pointing out that Jordan Reid a draft evaluator had him as his top prospect in 2023. He didn't come out of nowhere or is being looked at just because of his size.

Come on dude read the posts lol.

BUT if you want some clips I can show you

Carson Beck was projected as a potential #1 overall pick, and Ollie Gordon was widely ranked above Jeanty pre-season, how did that work out for them?

I give a slight pass for his ankle and a small one for being so young, but I'd like to see more pass rush, an edge setter at #11? What are we drafting Solomon Thomas again?

Could he develop into a great pass rusher? Maybe, but what are we doing drafting Marcus Davenport? No projects @ 11.

And I don't want clips, I've watched games, and there's a better pass rusher on his team who is 4 inches shorter and 30 lbs lighter.

At least he's not a project, I'm hoping he goes above us, but Kyle could easily use 2 TE's if he decided to. I don't think he needs to be an elite separator, we have enough of them, Kyle could easily scheme up some YAC stuff with him. He has that Shockey/Kittle mentality where he's personally insulted when people tackle him.

We don't need him, but we do need good players, I've got enough similarly graded players at more important positions so I wouldn't personally take him, but if we did you know it's because Kyle has a plan, that would be good enough for me.

He was so schemed up man, how's that not a project? He's not a top end separator. He's not a top end blocker. Could he get there sure…no different than any of these dudes that we're talking about.

Just like you think size gets folks all juiced up apparently getting a bunch of screen passes and blowing over college players seems to do the same.

No one needs to invest a top 11 pick on a guy, so Kyle can "scheme up" YAC stuff go draft Savion Williams or Harold Fannin on day 2/3 if that's the goal.

Even if it was schemed up it was still production, and he was a beast in the red zone. I don't want Warren, but I'd much rather him to Shemar Stewart.

I could live with Mykel Williams, but I'm certain there would be someone on my board over both of them.

I'm prepared to be disappointed.

I have Landon Jackson as a 3rd rounder, but think I'd rather him at #43 than I would Mykel Williams or Shemar Stewart at #11. Give me Swinson as well.
Nightmare situation….Mason Graham is available at 11 but Niners still select Shamar Stewart LOL.

Again you're missing the point. Folks were saying he came out of nowhere and he was a 3rd rd guy. That's completely untrue.

Go watch the Texas game. I know you have for Walker.
