Barrett Carter-LB-Clemson

If they're seriously looking for a Greenlaw replacement, Carter could be a very good option. Athletic linebacker that excels in zone coverage and has shown the ability to hang with tight ends and slot receivers with excellent sideline to sideline speed. You can move him around the defense a bit and he's an outstanding blitzer as well. He'd be a strong complement to Fred Warner.

Tackling is questionable with this dude I'd take Chris Paul Jr all day over Carter if we're looking for 3rd round LBers

Didn't he lose his starting job last year?

I watched Georgia Vs Ole Miss, to get a look at Dart and Starks. Chris Paul drew my eyes. I almost made a thread but I can't embed. I was disappointed with his 40, as our staff seem to value that in an LB. He looks explosive enough on tape though and is the best pure LB I've seen so far in this class.

Fred Warner 4.64
Chris Paul Jr 4.63

i don't think his 40 was bad at all

Don't think 49ers would draft Paul. Arms are too short which could mean missed tackles. Bet all the missed tackles last year really irked Lynch.

Paul Jr had a 7.6% missed tackle rate his final year which is pretty damn good.

Tape don't lie. Paul in the 3rd will be an instant day 1 starter.
