2025 RB Draft Class

I feel like they need their own thread. This is one of the deepest RB groups in like a decade.

Who's your favorite RB/fit for SF?

for me Kaleb Johnson is ideal for this scheme. Dude is Arian Foster 2.0 imo.

Others I like are:

TreVeyon Henderson
Brashard Smith
DJ Giddens
Devin Neal
RJ Harvey
Bhayshul Tuten
Dylan Sampson also

Bhayshul Tuten is a name I threw out a couple of weeks ago. He reminds me a lot of Mostert with his exceptional burst and acceleration. He's a favorite of mine.

What are your thoughts of Lequint Allen? More of a third down back at the NFL level but he's a capable runner. Also aside from being a great receiving option out of the backfield, he is a strong pass protector. He allowed only 1 pressure all season.

Damien Martinez or Tahj Brooks - both are good pass blockers, run hard, and reliable ball carriers. They aren't home run hitters, but we need to have a "power back" type as we lost that when we traded Wilson a few years ago.

I like Jaydon Blue as a late round pick. he has great speed and feet and receives well out of the back.
I'm gonna add Jacory Croskey-Merritt who we met with at the Shrine bowl. One cut OZ guy

Give me TreVeyon Henderson. He's a no brainer. Dynamic. Tuff as nails as a pass blocker and a game changer in the run and pass. Yeah he's had injury issues but this year he benefited from sharing the load with Judkins. Every time he touches the ball the opposing teams hold their breath.

Imagine defenses having to deal with him after giving McCafferey a breather. Good luck. We'd have to trade up end of the first though. He's too dynamic.

Trevor Etienne.

Elite vision and pass catching out of the backfield.

I like him late as well. I also like Jeanty and Hampton as I thnk they will both be very good, but obviously not a wise decision given our needs.
I like the kid from Kansas, Neal
derrick sanchez

I wouldn't take a RB before round 4. So my rankings are based accordingly.

RJ Harvey is only guy in round 4-5 I'd draft unless Trayveon Henderson drops somehow.

2 late round guys I like is

Tahj Brooks TT. He reminds me of Jordan Mason

Tahj Brooks

Lan Larison UC Davis. His game kind of sorta reminds me of CMC. 6' 215, 4.46 40
1465 rushing yards, 17 TDs
62 catches, 847 receiving yards 6 TDs

Lan Larison

They need a guy who can be a #1 RB incase CMC goes down. So basically a 3 down guy. And someone where Kyle could feel comfortable splitting carries with CMC.

He doesn't split carries. If cmc goes down he's needs another cmc lol

Those are some ridiculous numbers how is he projected that low?
I keep seeing Jeanty to the raiders now and that makes sense since Pete is there. Interesting
