Day 3 - Prospects Outside the Top 100

A pick that even if SF already drafted a DT somewhere between Rd1 or Rd2 SF could still address the Defensive Tackle position again in the later rounds b/c as we know this is such a big need after this off-season's "sadly but needed gutting " of SF interior Def line, We not only need starters of course but we need backup rotational players as well ,So if SF wanted to double dip in the -Defensive Tackles- Dept. in the later round's around Rd 5.One good option in this lucky for SF and other teams is Aeneas Peebles Virginia Tech DT he is "truly" one of the few DT's in this draft that especially in the later rounds that can legitimately rush the QB from his 3-tech position .His issue is he is still developing his average run defensive game (which with good development coaching like SF is known for) he could turn into a solid 3 down player with outstanding inside rushing capabilities in fact he has a wicked spin move that works for him more times than not.

Overall Aeneas Peebles is Projected as

Peebles enters the league as an interior defender with a clear strength as an interior pass-rusher. When aligned in the three-technique or as a shaded nose, he flashes disruptive potential by working through A and B gaps with sudden quickness. His exceptional production as an interior rusher is evident where he consistently pressures quarterbacks with an array of moves and relentless effort. Defensive systems that emphasize penetration over two-gap responsibility will best utilize his natural skill set.
Peebles projects as a rotational interior defensive lineman with specialized pass-rushing value on obvious throwing downs. His tackling issues will limit his immediate impact, but his refined pass-rush skillset provides immediate utility. Defensive schemes that allow him to attack a single gap and penetrate will maximize his strengths.
Well, the guide served pretty well here.

I called Mykel the best fit at DE.

Picked Collins as best fit at DT.

Nick Martin was profiled at LB although a day earlier than I thought.

Day 3 started off great. Hit on CJ West who was one of my absolute favorites in the draft.

Hit on Jordan Watkins.

I had a few traits based FS types highlighted. Had the right idea, but was not familiar with Sigle.

And then fortunately got one of 7th rounders correct when we finally went OL. I like Colby. High hopes he's a second contract guy.
