Deion himself said he won't let certain teams sign his son if they draft him
Do you believe that he won't let Shanahan coach his son?
I wasn't implying that, actually think Deion would be ecstatic if an offensive mind coach drafted him but he openly expressed pulling an Elway / Eli if say the Browns, Jets, or maybe Raiders try drafting his son. So he might slip, pretty sure a team would trade up before 11 but it's possible he falls to us given that quote.
He's not slipping due to this, he's slipping because the NFL values the wrong things at QB. My actual comp for him is Purdy, and I think they could do similar things in the league. Problem is that Purdy went with the last pick of the draft.
I think he just needs the right system and he'll be a decent QB, the high end is Drew Brees, but it's extremely unlikely he gets all the way there.
I actually feel a bit sorry for him, nearly everyone in the league profits from Nepotism, I feel like he's one of the first to suffer for it. The bluster doesn't fit the skillset and I think that's putting teams off.
