I'm going Baron. And I'm a huge Harmon fan but Harmon isn't the BPA.

Baron is the BPA and fills a need. And this is an extremely deep DL draft where we can get starters in rounds 2-5

I'm thinking Xavier Watts and Jacob Parrish in the later rounds, but yes, secondary help is paramount with the loss of Ward. We're going to need all the help we can get with the NFC West showcasing Harrison Jr., McBride, Kupp, Adams, Nakua, JSN, etc.
11. Shemar Stewart

i'd then try and trade back into the first or early second and get one of the better defensive tackles in Harmon, Nolan if they are within striking distance.

I'd also grab a true pass rusher DE later in the draft like Burch, Oladejo, Walker, Stinson, J Stewart,

With Shemar Stewart I'm banking he'll be my edge setter on day 1. Hopefully we can coach him up to be a complete DE by year 3 which I think he can. He has the tools. He shows he can pressure the QB but the only thing he hasn't shown is finishing.

If it happens and we can't trade down I'm rolling the dice on Shemar Stewart.

If rolling dice, I'm taking Nolen. Character concerns aside I really think he's the best DT in this draft. The safer pick is Harmon, after that Banks. I'd be good with anyone of those 3

  1. Ward
  2. Hunter
  3. Carter
  4. Campbell
  5. Jeanty
  6. Membou
  7. Warren
  8. Walker
  9. Graham
  10. Williams

Who are you taking and why? I will go first. My pick is Kelvin Banks. Play him at LG where he can be very good right away at a position of need and groom him to take over for Trent. Yes, he can play LT. He has done it for 3 years at Texas and been elite.

After Banks take DL and secondary in rds 2-4.

Let's get everyone on record!

i'm with you NJ. Banks would be quality. you can't get quality tackles in this league, unless you sell and arm and a leg. you gotta draft and you gotta spend your round 1s. having a bookend to learn from and then replace trent at LT that's a strong move. the draft is deep, and you can hit DL in the day 2 and day 3 picks. they won't do it but i would

Where is NYs pick?

Walter Nolen. Five star beast and we have locker room to keep him in check.
I'll gladly take Banks.

I'm taking a game changer at a major position of need.

Walter Nolan come eat.

Also ok if they take Stewart or Barron but knowing Lynch it will be a head scratcher.

I don't follow prospects or watch film like you guys do, so I don't feel qualified to partake in these threads. But wanted to thank you all for the time you put in.
Problem is that we don't have access to the background work that has been done on prospects like Green & Pearce. I'm assuming that they are either off some boards or are pushed down.

Under that assumption, I would go with Ersery if I had to stay at 11. Ideally, I'd try to trade back a few spots and pick up some more picks and then take him around 15-20.

I think Ersery and Simmons will be the two best tackles from this class. Simmons is contingent on coming back from a torn patella.
