Predict our 1st round pick and rationale on why you think we go with that pick

Will Nolan will be off the board by the time we pick at 11, so we'll pivot and take Walter Nolen.

i think stewart will be available and he's an edge. the club thinks they can address IDL later in the draft is my guess. they get the edge round 1.

I'll take Will Nolan

Iowas top rated recruit in the 24 class. Only a freshman but he has that 6'5 frame that can support more mass. Hes going to be a mover in the run game and well versed in outside schemes. No brainer.

Shemar Stewart
The Niners pretty much never take a corner in the first round. So rule all that out. Historically, they've almost always taken trenches when they're picking early in the draft, and specifically defensive line.
So for me its between Shemar Stewart, Walter Nolen, and Mykell Williams.
Mike Green is ruled out completely because of character concerns and also because he's too small. They want a big guy who can set the edge.
I have a feeling they will pass on Nolan because they think the DT depth in the draft is good, and they can get someone else in Round 3 or 4.
So it's a coin flip between Mykell Williams or Shemar Stewart. In my opinion, I think they will ask Saleh and Kocurek who they like, and they will end up taking Shemar because he's more gifted physically.
edit: This is all under the assumption that this is a normal draft and nothing crazy happens like Mason Graham dropping. I'm giving that a fairly low chance.

The amount of times I've seen his name misspelled that would be pretty funny if a team drafted Walter Nolan.

At this point I think they take Stewart at 11, and get their edge-setter. It's possible they trade back into the first round if they really like Nolan and he's there at the back end.

They're also referring to Nolen instead of Nolan.

Derrick Harmon, I think the other DT/Edge will be gone. They will have LB/OT/CB high on their board too but go with top need

Going Mykel becuase there is so much depth at DTat 43. But Nolen/OT makes sense too. But my vote is Mykel now.

Bingo I'm expecting him or Mykel to be the pick. I'm actually beginning to believe Stewart is a Star I'm weary of his production but you watch him and he's just a wrecking ball of size and strength. I want a run stopper so I'm hoping for him, Mykel, or maybe Nolen

I don't think it's Shemar Stewart because John Lynch talked about college production and Stewart doesn't really have that.

Mason Graham after a small trade up (think 5-8 would all consider it) I predict Panthers. This year's 3rd and next year's 4th
