Draft Value Chart with Calculator (see bottom of chart for calculator)

Anyone know why are there many different charts with different values? What methodologies are used, and are some more reliable than others? Maybe different teams have their own charts too, so it's just guesswork anyway?

E.g., here's walterfootball: http://walterfootball.com/draftchart.php. Not the same as the WZ one.

People in the forum are discussing trading our pick (call it 9) for Bills' 21 and 22. WZ has that as 1438 vs 2021 (in our favor). WF.com has it as 1350 vs 1580 (again in our favor, but not as dramatically).

That's the same chart posted on the first page.
If we trade down from 9 to 15...what do you think we can pick up? A 2nd rounder?
I hope Denver beats the chargers I have a feeling they might and I hope the charges rest some of their players. Either way Dallas and Atlanta better handle their business
This draft calculator is a more accurate and up to date compensation.

Now that we have some serious trade stock -

Let's use this. The chart at the bottom looks like all the rest.

I would like to point out that in practice, there is a lot more value in very end of the 1st round picks and very beginning of the 2nd round picks. Those tens of point values don't always reflect the true difference in value of those pics, because of the extra year.

Exactly!

I sense a trade up for a qb for our 31st.

like he said plus a comp 3rd and 5th
So it looks like our two 3rd round comps (102 and 103) equal out to about pick 79/80. Our original pick was 74? Not bad at all

edit: never mind

Here's an easier graphic to look at (unfortunately done by KC fans)
Our picks

Sample trade using our picks and trade value chart:

We give pick 61, pick 93 and pick 172

We get pick 46.

May not sound like much but if we identify a key player who slips through round 1 we can make a move.

If we give up our top 3 picks we can get up to pick 40.
