Manningham at 32"

lol, Why is this fool working out?!?!?!?

32" isn't that bad. The 36" on that chart seems like an extremely high benchmark. There are a handful of guys in the 20's.

Notables:
Monk: 34.5" - Red zone threat.
Royal: 36" - Having a great Combine
Sweed 35"- Still moving up
D. Thomas: 28"
Nelson: 31"
Rivers: 30"

32" is bad for Mario. He isn't even that tall, and is considered a very atheltic and explosive player. 32 is pretty average for a WR like him.

Thomas' second run- 4.32

Devin Thomas made some serious money today....

Biggest winners gotta be, Caldwell, Dexter Jackson, Devin Thomas, Josh Johnson (may be wrong name, but the QB that ran a 4.40) also DeSean Jackson may have put himself as the number 1 receiver to be taken.

Josh Johnson is definitely having a good day, that is fast for a QB. So are the rest you listed, DeSean should go ahead and pick out the color of his dream car right now.

Idk, I really didn't expect to see anything over 35 from him...32 really isn't that bad IMO. Its just ok.

heres a little tidbit on DeSean Jakcson, from the guys at nfl.com who are blogging

"Word is that DeShaun Jackson of Cal, who had a blazing 40 time earlier in the morning, also had the best workout during passing drills of the receivers."

He should be the top WR taken, I think anywhere from 7-15. He has good hands, and is the most explosive player in the draft bar none. On film, he is the fast player in the draft, and is a much better WR than Ted Ginn ever was.

His speed and athleticism are fantastic, but it doesn't change the fact that he is 5'9" and ONLY 169 lbs. NFL Scouts and coaches are going to wonder is he is physical enough to beat a jam at the line or scrimmage or break arm tackles at his size. That has to be a consideration.

6'5", 225, 4.57 forty, strong-armed, quick release and great scrambler.

Blue-collar award goes to...

Notre Dame safety Tom Zbikowski was apparently challenged on the board by a teams defensive coordinator and ridden real hard. After the questions and answers the DC told him he was not satisfied and was left with questions about his ability to cover the receiver he showed the safey on a film. Tommy Z's response was if he could not cover that particular wide receiver, he would knock the crap out of him to break the ball free. And, Z. said if the coach really did not think he could do it, he would be more than happy to show the other three teams in his division he could and would. Good Stuff by the kid from Chicago.

And his size will probably scare off s few teams but his speed will bring is more teams than his size will scare away.
NFL Network is starting to p**s me off. I don't want to see special reports on the Colts new facility, cutaways to the announcers talking about position drills or 25 commercials per hour.

I want to see the prospects go through their drills!!!!!

I completly agree with you, but it takes only 1 team to over-look his size. And because of the 5 yard rule, it has only helped the small guys in last 2-3 years, so it's not the worst thing if you are a small WR.

The Senior Bowl is the same way. They barely even show the drills. It's all commentary and fluffer.

I will take him in a heartbeat at 29

Shaun McDonald 5'10 183 pounds, 74 catches around 950 yards and 6 TD's in 2007 under a Mike Martz offense.
DeSean jackson can be a much better version of him, 5'9 3/4 and 169 pounds (can bulk up some)
